How are the double cheese slopes attached to that plate the full way down? I think I have it worked out in my brain, but not positive.

    Fantastic build!

    Alternating plates!

Thanks! That's what I thought it might be based on what I had worked out. Thanks for sharing the picture!

As I’ve mentioned before, I love the Sith Trooper design so when I discovered you can get all but one part on PAB, I couldn’t resist. Very cool set.

#30376 Knighton Rider and #70310 Knighton Battle Blaster. The Trans Neon Orange doesn't really photograph well.

I always longed for #6781 SP-Striker as a kid, it had the working light bars and that was just the coolest thing ever.  But we couldn't afford it.  I might need to find a good used one to add to my collection.

Well, not building, but just finished.

FINALLY all these years after my much bigger original was stolen before I could complete it, I hope something crawls up the SOB thief's bunghole and tears him apart from the inside out...

Now if I could JUST get Pick-A-Brick to stock the three pesky 1x2 half-rounds to order the parts for three more Star Destroyers and complete the squadron...

@Diamondback_Six if you have the other parts for the Star Destroyers, and just need those 1x2 half-rounds, here's a possible solution: if you have #75347 TIE Bomber, part 18674, "plate round w. 1 knob" can  replace each pair of 1x2 half-rounds in the Bomber's engines.

I don't have the TIE (quit collecting all LEGO SW except Microfighters long ago, back when Clone Wars made it too much to keep up with as a completist--then I dropped all SW except my Star Destroyer collection, and then the Sequel Trilogy was saltmine enough to kill even that so I pared down to "Executor and her squadron only"), and all the other parts are sitting in a cart at LEGO Shop not in-hand. I think they had a 1x2 half-round tile with no stud, but I'm a little iffy on that holding the ISD conning towers sufficiently.

Thanks, though. :) Wonder if Bricklink will offer a better rate than direct's 2x$10 service fees... or maybe I'll just wait and order the parts for extra JP Jeeps and Explorers once those release to get above the minimums.

Frankly, I've been tempted to order a K/O of the UCS-size off AliExpress, but prior experience with their stabs at Ideas-rejected locomotives have left a bad taste in my mouth. (Genoa was nice other than the horrid deco alterations, but the Big Boy... well, It's Kragle Time getting it to stay together.)

I put the #40647 Lotus Flowers in with the Roses and Sunflowers- probably not a common grouping with real flowers!

#71792 Sora's Transforming Mech Bike Racer. The articulation of the arms is excellent: in either mode, you can aim the stud shooters anywhere. One gripe I have with this set is that there's nowhere to store the characters' weapons while they're in the vehicles. (This is a problem with lots of sets.)

I thought the Trans Pink canopy from #71772 Crystal King would look good here, but it sort of clashes with the Vibrant Coral. But the thing isn't exactly subtle anyhow!

I just finished building the Little Mermaid clamshell and was pleasantly surprised that there is not a single sticker in the set. Every detail is brick built. I can't even recall the last time I built a set that had no stickers?

It was certainly an interesting build, from start to finish. The framework is incredibly intricate. There is surprisingly very little technic. It's all bricks and plates with clever offsets.

Ah, yeah it was a must have for me. It was always my favorite fairy tale as a kid, long before Disney ever made a film and gentrified the ending Hahaha. You should give them a look. They're both a lot of fun.
Perhaps I've been building too much of the playline Hogwarts stuff lately, but this was just a really fun build. All of the flowing lines and odd angles were achieved with bizarre combinations of bricks, vlips, and plates. :)

I've remained in contact with Mirko on the design and instructions. It would be about $130 for the instructions/shipping...then the parts on top. But the end model is just so incredible. It would certainly be the highlight of my collection.

I just need to pull the trigger on it. I'm almost positive I wouldn't regret it! (right...?)

Not sure if you made a decision on K2 but if you wanted something a bit more palatable cost wise, bobbacatmocs just posted this on E.B. & Rebrickable.

Obviously not to the size or scale of the Mirko build but still quite impressive (Uses the head from #75120).

The ostrich build of #31112. I'm at this month's meeting of Oddball's Modelling Group, a dozen or so guys who build scale models, mainly military subjects, but anything is welcome. I know several of these guys from the other modelling club I've been in for more than a decade. This is the blizzard-delayed "April Fools" white elephant exchange- numbers are chosen, you pick a wrapped box, unwrap it so everyone knows what you got. The next person can pick a wrapped kit, or "snipe" any previous person's kit. If you actually build the kit you end up with, next year you're safe from "sniping". Most of the kits are ones someone has had for years and never built. Sometimes they go vack and forth for several years, or end up donated to the other club's fubdraising auction.
I haven't built a model in decades so I just enjoy the fun. But one of the guys felt sorry for me and bought me #31112! Thanks, Bob!

The Ninjago train bridge is starting to take shape. Now to work on the area below...

I love that use of the roller coaster pieces!  Makes the bridge look absolutely fantastic imo.

"Tell me you like tedious repetitive tasks without telling me..."

It shall be a SNOT SMB question block.  A questionable SNOT cube? 1,536 1x1 tiles >_<  It's an improvement (only internally) on some Ideas activity about SNOT building from two years ago.

Will look like this when done (and sit on a stand)...

Lining up these tiles... ugh.  I did do this to myself though.  No one else to blame but me! :-)

    “What is that?”
    It's a leg!”
    No, what is it?”
    Well, it's, it's... it's a leg! You know, like in a statue!”
    Statue?”
    Yeah, a statue!”

Decided it was time to bust out a set I bought used a few years back. #7594 Woody's Roundup!

The set is definitely used. Several scratched parts. And with all that old Reddish Brown, I put that thing together like I was performing brain surgery.

One missing sticker, which I got a replacement for, and one missing 1x4 Dark Brown tile. Otherwise all there.  This is a fun addition to my Toy Story sets!

Such funny timing @Switchfoot55!! I literally just received that set in the mail and was getting it inventoried yesterday! I'm only missing one part still, a dark brown 1x6 plate. It's such a fun set and I'm looking forward to building it. I too will be exceptionally nervous about all of the brown pieces!

I was nervous rebuilding mine. Every western town needs a sheriff's office, and I figure Woody's will be good for my layout. Have to figure out how to use the Lone Ranger's, too...This, however, is my favorite. I want to make a station to match.

    Crazy timing!

I was missing the "She" half of the Sheriff sign. As I had bought a full sticker sheet, I ended up replacing both halves of the sign as the "Riff" was pretty worn too. Still debating on the other stickers. Might as well I guess?

@Modeltrainman, Keep us updated on that western town!
