^I had the exact same thought when I got to that bag when building. Why on earth separate out the same part?

Then I realized they were different and it made more sense!

Mrs Speedy and I finished the Spaceman mosaic over breakfast this morning. Need to pop some screws in the wall and hang it up under the Batman one from Christmas.
Starred on the SC Lotus whilst making tea. Converted to RHD though, as its a British car!

@bandit778 did you make sure all the LEGO logos were correctly aligned though?

You wouldn't think so from the pic but I cleaned up & rejuvenated the stickiness of  #5521 Sea Jet decal (missing the opposite one), mainly to re-seat the lower left corner which appears to be holding. The lower right corner was clean when I re-applied it 🤷‍♂️

Trust me, the sticker overall looks better than it did-  I'd even go so far as to call it a rescue.

@evancelt very nice barn.  Upscale living for the lucky cow.  I would never have thought to mix together different shaped flags to make such a realistic roof.  Using the log end tiles is really good at breaking up the brown and adding interest.

Glad I'm not the only one who converts cars to RHD!

As promised, pics of the Boeing-ized #31126 ...

No extra parts needed, even had leftovers! Next problem, enlarging it to minifig size...

Hey get out of my basement 😂😂

Another set I got from the recent haul, parts ordered from a next-door state arrived yesterday l swappped in a discolored (wont re-brighten, I tried) 6x6 dish for the stand base-- I'm not spending nearly $5 for the black dish. (I spent THAT money on Uruk-hai swords & cleaned him out 👍🏻)

@evancelt have you ever done a traditional 18/19th century red barn?  And if so do you have pics?

Not a chance. I like to take my time and enjoy a build but that to me would make the whole process about as enjoyable as pulling my own teeth.
It takes me long enough to find the time to build in the first place and as it'll be disassembled in a couple of weeks to make room to build something new, the logos will be whichever way they land.

    No, I haven't - but that'd be fun :)

Lois is right. That cow is MOO-ving up in the world, and hoofing it, and going places.

I’m continuing to find amazing stuff to build on Rebrickable.

Just finished this gem by BrentWaller: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-117303/BrentWaller/waller-customs-johnny-5/#details

Made a few minor changes and love this little guy

When the time comes to take it apart will it say "NO DISASSEMBLE"?

There is a Native American dog breed that is close to extinction.  Read somewhere work is being done to conserve it.  Looks very wolf like but is different genetically.

I received 1950s Diner, and a few hours later, it was built!  The building itself is great, but I'll admit that 8 wide car is gigantic.  It completely dwarves the minifigs.  I much prefer the less accurate but more whimsical 6-wide that fits the rest of the minifig scale...

Closest I’ll ever get to owning one…

Built that today, too, Simon. What did you think of the rear? It seems fragile to me.

I can see what you mean as you build it, but once everything locks into place my only niggle is the way the entire rear can move as you handle the car. You can see it a couple of times in Jang’s review.

@Lo1sJess while your photo was loading, I was wondering if you meant Lego daffodils or real ones. Delighted to see both!
Maybe my Chima minifigs should have a picnic.

I don't have proper lighting at my place so I did what I could!

As you can see, I'm trying to modularize the set (still missing the pavement tiles), and I always though the front could accomodate a small parking.  For sure the tiny cars fit, then I tried with two 6-wides of basic size and it'll fit, but that 8-wide car included...  Ouch!    Almost takes two 16x16 plates by itself!   I put a minifig next to it and the trunk is almost as tall as the poor guy.

@Phoenixio you can see in pics thanks for sharing!  The car is big. Like the details especially ‘if you can fry it you can try it’😁

Apparently, somebody fixed it. Only needs two cheese slopes.

While recovering from abdominal (MOAS) surgery the last few weeks, I've been working though smaller sets, mostly the Speed Champions. After finally building the 2022 Lotus, I've been working on the 2023's starting with the @76917 R34, then @76915 Utopia, and now starting the @76918 McLarens.
Also took a break from the real vehicles to build the @60384 Slushy Van, the drivers can always use more food-truck options.

@mr_benn those pink boxes are a good shape for the bouquets. Might work better than the basket I made.  Wonder how easily legoable they are.

#31070 discovered in latest haul! Cool set but a bit tedious build & the 2 alternate builds are lacking (as usual with Creator 3-in-1 sets IMO)

Also found  #60149 in there Missing sail so I ordered one, I prefer the #60168 Sailboat Rescue version.
