I'm working on the ultimate batmobile, I found half of it in a fb sale, will hunt for the other pieces. I love that it can split into different vehicles.

Anyone combined at least two #40567 yet?

#40347. This is a cute little set. 18 stickers, 6 on each car. You could leave them off the cars, and just have a red car and a blue car, instead of Fire car and Police car.
My friends gave me this set; we're camping at Bear Head Lake State Park in NE Minnesota.

#40567. Something went terribly wrong at the factory, and instead of a spare red feather... I got three spares! 😁😁😁

I think that's the norm. I wonder if they had intended to include two hats as well at some point?

@560Heliport, when you go camping, how much of the car is packed with Lego sets? 🙂

Only three our four sets. Maybe five. Or six or seven. 😁

I just rebuilt the Daily Bugle.  It's deeper and wider than before....and built on a 48x48 MILs plate.  Now I'll add a couple of floors for additional height.

Check out the price on that space suit Batman.
Cheers for the heads up. I paid £180 for the full box. Crazy, I know, but one of the Star Wars sets that was to be included was a Tantive IV, and I didn't have one yet, and I guess, now I still don't as it's not in the box GRR!!!

I've also got around to building:
#76053 Gotham City CYcle Chase. Missing Deadshot + accessories. Also oddly missing Harley Quinn's face, it came with Penguin's face, and reviewing the main brickset website helped me identify which Harley Quinn I had, and which set it came from, and from there, download the instructions and what to do with some leftover pieces, so cheers for that!
#76104 The Hulkbuster Smash-Up. Missing Bruce Banner, The Falcon, and Outrider minifigures and their accessories and a few other bits and pieces.
#76124 War Machine Buster. Missing it's left forearm/hand, outrider minifigures, hairpiece, and a few other bits and bobs.
#76125 Iron Man Hall of Armour, missing the blue robot, a pair of outrider minifigures, the pair of fires and a black stud for the robot wheel.
#76166 Cheers for the heads up. That is nice. . Rebuilt and cleaned. Missing most of minifigure accessories for pretty much every character, and one of the grenade pieces that goes under each floor / level.

    #COLSH02 Wonder Woman Minifigure
    #COLSH10 Batman minifigure

There's also one other minifigure with a yellow fireball I can't figure out who it is or where they are from.

I still possibly got my money's worth in a way and they're not 99% complete as advertised either, but had I got my Tantive IV, I'd have kept the lot. Now I'm just going to restore the sets and get rid of them to cut my losses, though some of them are not economically viable as they will cost more than they are worth so I'll either part them out or give them away. I think the only one I'll keep is the Penguin Arctic Roller as it is a freaking cool car :)

    --------------

Also I have received two separate orders. Both sold as used but 100% complete, both arrived with a piece missing -_-

#75270 Obi-Wan's Hut. Missing a telescope piece with a brown stick that is supposed to hang on the wall. Not the end of the world as I only wanted the Marksman-H and Obi-Wan minifigure anyway, and I was tempted to use the Leia Hologram as a substitute for the emperor Hologram if I ever picked up an incomplete #75055 Imperial Star Destroyer.

#75208 Yoda's Hut. Missing the post box lid/cover. I am aiming to recreate the Dagoba diorama on a larger scale with my #75301 X-Wing when space allows it, and given as I will be doing a bricks and pieces / pick and build order to restore the job lot sets anyway, I may as well add the swamp elements to my order to bump me out of the service charge range.

No ice, but I did chill the glass!

Ah, an optical illusion then as at a casual glance it does look like there was ice! Never thought of chilling the glass, usually just drink it straight!

Not the most flattering of pictures but I've just finished building #76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile to keep my #76239 Tumbler company. It's nice how it all comes together but I'm not too fond of stickers and did ok with most of them, but the rear 1x1 parachutes are seriously wonky... I can understand the inclusion of the Joker but c'mon... it's Batman AND Robin... where is my Robin at? I guess I'll have to go minifigure hunting...

Nothing fancy as I'm waiting for the right deal on other bits and bobs, but my #75239 Hoth Generator Attack arrived to add a bit of scenery to my Star Wars shelves. But literally as soon had I built it, I wanted to mod it to remove the turret to add a bit more cinematic accuracy, but at the same time, I wanted to keep the play function as it's actually kind of fun and looks pretty neat opened up on fire too.

In an ideal world I'd have used a 1x10 plate, but all I could find was a 1x12 in white, or a 1x8, so I capped it off with a 1x2 to give me the full 10 studs of depth. I also couldn't find a 2x2 slope in white, so I had to use 2 2x1's instead. It's lucky I had some extra "snow" to bulk up the front too, probably leftovers from the #75320 Snowtrooper Battle Pack which I didn't bother to assemble. On the rear, I well I wanted to do something but I wasn't sure what, so I used the remainder of the pieces and some spare tiles to cap it off. And lastly, the target at the front was a little bit too blue, so I reused the grey tiles from the turret I had displaced, and I think all in all it's not a bad balance between the original source and it's play functions as a toy.

Lets see what the Lego fairies offer up next :)

Found this gem ( #1789 ) in a free collection I picked up today. How is this little set worth over $100?

Cuz it's gorgeous! It was a fantastic design for it's era given the parts available at that time.

I loved that set! However, I took off the back flap and thought the set was much better without it.  I don't know why it's there or what function it was supposed to perform.

I think Unitron was a North America limited release, which probably adds to its price. But yes, it is a bit of an ugly duckling...

Did a little July 4th splurge and grabbed a giant random pile - no cheating, all surprises.
Not normally a CMF guy, but I'll make an exception for these crazy little dudes...brings back memories!  A small Bricklink order will complete the collection.  I only need Animal and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, so almost got the complete line - not bad!  Beaker, Rowlf and Janice are some of my favs, so I'm glad for the multiples.

    edited July 2022
It's been a slow week or two as I've been outbid on a number of retired sets, but a few other orders have arrived to restore the job lot sets and I have out the finishing touches onto #70909 Batcave Break in and #70923 Bat-Space Shuttle.

The mini penguins are much smaller and way cuter than I had anticipated. The set alone would be worth it just for them, but alas, I need to cover my losses and make room for other things so the whole lot will need to go.

There doesn't seem to be much demand for the Batcave and the cost of replacement parts probably wasn't economically viable, but the Bat-Space Shuttle availability is few and far between, so I will probably try bundle them together as a team and hopefully get lucky.

In any event, it felt bad being short changed on the job lot but good to be able to restore the sets for someone else to enjoy, so we shall see what happens.
