It's a VERY successful blacksmith's shop.
My friends gave me this set; we're camping at Bear Head Lake State Park in NE Minnesota.
I think that's the norm. I wonder if they had intended to include two hats as well at some point?
I've also got around to building:
#76053 Gotham City CYcle Chase. Missing Deadshot + accessories. Also oddly missing Harley Quinn's face, it came with Penguin's face, and reviewing the main brickset website helped me identify which Harley Quinn I had, and which set it came from, and from there, download the instructions and what to do with some leftover pieces, so cheers for that!
#76104 The Hulkbuster Smash-Up. Missing Bruce Banner, The Falcon, and Outrider minifigures and their accessories and a few other bits and pieces.
#76124 War Machine Buster. Missing it's left forearm/hand, outrider minifigures, hairpiece, and a few other bits and bobs.
#76125 Iron Man Hall of Armour, missing the blue robot, a pair of outrider minifigures, the pair of fires and a black stud for the robot wheel.
#76166 Cheers for the heads up. That is nice. . Rebuilt and cleaned. Missing most of minifigure accessories for pretty much every character, and one of the grenade pieces that goes under each floor / level.
#COLSH02 Wonder Woman Minifigure
#COLSH10 Batman minifigure
There's also one other minifigure with a yellow fireball I can't figure out who it is or where they are from.
I still possibly got my money's worth in a way and they're not 99% complete as advertised either, but had I got my Tantive IV, I'd have kept the lot. Now I'm just going to restore the sets and get rid of them to cut my losses, though some of them are not economically viable as they will cost more than they are worth so I'll either part them out or give them away. I think the only one I'll keep is the Penguin Arctic Roller as it is a freaking cool car :)
--------------
Also I have received two separate orders. Both sold as used but 100% complete, both arrived with a piece missing -_-
#75270 Obi-Wan's Hut. Missing a telescope piece with a brown stick that is supposed to hang on the wall. Not the end of the world as I only wanted the Marksman-H and Obi-Wan minifigure anyway, and I was tempted to use the Leia Hologram as a substitute for the emperor Hologram if I ever picked up an incomplete #75055 Imperial Star Destroyer.
#75208 Yoda's Hut. Missing the post box lid/cover. I am aiming to recreate the Dagoba diorama on a larger scale with my #75301 X-Wing when space allows it, and given as I will be doing a bricks and pieces / pick and build order to restore the job lot sets anyway, I may as well add the swamp elements to my order to bump me out of the service charge range.
In an ideal world I'd have used a 1x10 plate, but all I could find was a 1x12 in white, or a 1x8, so I capped it off with a 1x2 to give me the full 10 studs of depth. I also couldn't find a 2x2 slope in white, so I had to use 2 2x1's instead. It's lucky I had some extra "snow" to bulk up the front too, probably leftovers from the #75320 Snowtrooper Battle Pack which I didn't bother to assemble. On the rear, I well I wanted to do something but I wasn't sure what, so I used the remainder of the pieces and some spare tiles to cap it off. And lastly, the target at the front was a little bit too blue, so I reused the grey tiles from the turret I had displaced, and I think all in all it's not a bad balance between the original source and it's play functions as a toy.
Lets see what the Lego fairies offer up next :)
happy building
The brown pieces on platform are the nuts.
The mini penguins are much smaller and way cuter than I had anticipated. The set alone would be worth it just for them, but alas, I need to cover my losses and make room for other things so the whole lot will need to go.
There doesn't seem to be much demand for the Batcave and the cost of replacement parts probably wasn't economically viable, but the Bat-Space Shuttle availability is few and far between, so I will probably try bundle them together as a team and hopefully get lucky.
In any event, it felt bad being short changed on the job lot but good to be able to restore the sets for someone else to enjoy, so we shall see what happens.
