^ You must have bought the exact same collection I did. I’m pretty sure I also have all three of those sets waiting in this pile of Technic parts.

I finally got round to building #21007 Rockefeller Center from my parts collection. The only part I didn’t have enough of was the double side stud 1x1 brick in tan (4213568). After some simple substitutions, I really only need about six more. Eventually I’d like to double-scale this one. 30 Rock is one of my favorite skyscrapers.

A word of advice, if you're going to display it long term, use the stand.  Its massive weight causes flat spots in the tires, especially the rear ones. Mine will never roll smoothly again.
I have my bicycle on hooks in the garage in large part for that reason and I've heard of that for longterm storage of real cars

The #10036 rerelease was one of my KFOL sets. Love it. #41092 was one of my first AFOL sets and I MOCed them together

This weekend I have been getting to fun projects like that - not paid work but makes me feel a lot better than random screwing around

Meanwhile I finished #6973 (with very subtle minor mods) this morning with spare parts salvaged from the latest haul.  I had Bricklinked this set before (& had it built for a looooong time, didnt want to dismantle it) but this time it's even more exact-- mainly the Tr-Neon orange panels at the rear.

I daresay this beats out even Galaxy Explorer IMO as big spaceships go (with Spaceship ^3) as all time best.
I saw this at Bricks & Minifigs the other day and got to swoosh it around a little bit.  It's much more lightweight than a modern spaceship of similar size would be.  I wouldn't call it the all-time best Spaceship, but it's definitely the best of the modular Spaceships that split into parts.  The cockpits are perfectly good spaceships on their own, and the two spaceships you get once you separately attach a cockpit to the front half and to the back half are also great spaceships on their own.  No other modular spaceship recombines into a different form factor that well, they all leave sections that don't really work very well on their own either as bases or as spaceships.

Finished #76908, which was a birthday present, today. Need to replace the stickers, kind of, as I applied one wrong, so it curled...

@FollowsClosely what brand are the drawer units and size.  Wondering whether they would fit in my units.  You’re overall set up is impressive!

I described my storage here. I like them as they are close to the size of a large baseplate.

Summary: I use Sterilite Wide 3 Drawer units.

Aaaand: (drumroll, please!) #6195 Hydro Crystallization Station.

This is one of the only Aquazone sets that I have, and I'm so glad I do.  It's a great set, and one of the ones that makes me miss raised baseplates.  I love the detail and smaller pieces and increased complexity of modern LEGO more than 80s and 90s LEGO in almost all ways from a building perspective (themes and iconic sets may be another matter :P) but I will always feel like there is a place for raised baseplates :)

I rescued a #10247 Ferris Wheel from a bulk lot today. The seller shipped the parts loose in the box and naturally it developed a few holes, so I know a few parts escaped. I need to BrickLink a few dozen parts and all of the minifigures.

I always liked the aquazone sets. At the time they filled in the void left in the Space theme.   In fact I thought of the theme as an extension of the Space theme.  The exploration was done and this was the next step in developing and harvesting the resources of an aquatic planet.

(*psst* that's the Neptune Discovery Lab) Definitely a great set! Mine's packed away for now

I had the HCS  but traded it away as part of a big Techni deal-- made sense at the time & it was the last "big ticket" item I had that I felt I could safely let go w/o regret & had no attachment to

The Castle Kick kontinues... here's #6086 with-- as usual-- minor modifications. I brick-built half of the black wall panels with 1s & 2s, & I ran out of black corner panels, grey 1x3 arches, & grey 1x2 bricks (of all things!!!)  Also I built on the raised baseplate from #6276 & tried disguising the blue water with green plates (effectively?) But I do have the large yellow dragon flag & both yellow wall panels, so that's some saving grace.

Well I got about 2/3 of #6075-2 done in all black as a "bad guy" castle but I hit a wall & dont feel like finishing now, nor do I want to do my last 3 castles. I might do my Pirates ships or my 5 biggest Technic sets.

Or I might just read a book.

I just finished #910016 using my own pieces and Bricklink. I made a few changes mainly because I didn't have the sticker sheet. I have some number stickers that I will apply to the dial (when I have the courage and steady hands) so that I can set the combination.

Finally managed to get hold of #76188 after it being sold out for a while. I really enjoyed the build and I am glad they gave the option to have no stud shooters.

I would like them to do a lot more Batmobiles as I think there some great ones to do.
