Why does he have an AT-AT cheek gun? #4483 :)
😲😲 you're right! I never knew!! I had one in an Exo-Force set that I traded away ( #7701 Grand Titan)

& I just now noticed he has a half Technic pin on the handle so he can grip it- I thought I discovered that "pro tip" myself 🤔😫

    #75309 ?
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,281
#75309 seems to be about 1/30th scale, so a little small for Technic figures. The best LEGO figures for #75309 might be Jack Stone!

I recently was able to get the last few sets that I needed to complete the Speed Champions theme secondhand, and I've been breaking them up/rebuilding them to confirm that all the pieces are there.  I really like the theme overall.  It's a lot of fun, there's tons of different techniques, lots of awesome cars, etc etc.

But there is one thing about Speed Champions I CAN NOT STAND.  As someone who tends to build my sets more than once as I buy second hand, run out of space, etc etc (again :P), the Speed Champions theme, for me, is the one that is most hostile to rebuilding.  And it's not because keeping track of all the small parts or finding them in a big pile is a pain in the butt.  No.  It's because the way that LEGO decided to show the stickers in the directions.  The way you are told to place certain pieces, that you won't then be told to sticker until 15 or 20 pages later.  And frustratingly, many of those collection of 'apply these 10 stickers from the last 30 steps' pages don't even make putting those stickers on any easier.  In a lot of cases, it makes it HARDER to put the stickers on!

Now, credit where its due, LEGO has gotten a lot better about this on new Speed Champions sets from what I've seen.  But ugh, it adds so much annoyance to building rebuilding an old Speed Champions set, when it should be all fun. :(

I think ‘66 Batman literally jumped the shark 5 minutes into the first episode.

I was going to say the same thing... the entire show was Jumping the shark, it is the most campy weird thing and it's glorious!

#43114 Punk Pirate Ship was quite enjoyable, expected less of it. Definitely a good deal at 50% off. The figs are magnificent, and all those printed tiles will certainly get some use as decorations in various buildings. Plus a nice display piece for a minifig (Commander Cody doesn't necessarily match with teal, but it'll do for now).

#70675 from the haul with (everybody now)
    "MINOR MODIFICATIONS & SUBSTITUTIONS"

I wont show you the OTHER half/side 😆🙄😫
At least all the bright light orange was there, all 3 orange missiles, & the weird tornado spinny thingy (not shown)

I am currently building some Brickheadz while watching random tv. First up was Daisy and Scrooge and gang. After that I will move on to the newer HP ones. And this afternoon I’m going to have to completely rearrange my already built sets so these will fit in the display cases I have—baseball bat cases from Michael’s.

$63.99 at Target, new regular price, not a sale. I have two extra Sand Green 1x2 plates. Can't find where they go- I can place 26 in the instructions, all placed, parts list says 28. Anyone else notice this?

Very fun, packed little set (with some "additions" for the photo). Did not expect spare headphones for Korg, was pleasantly surprised.

I got mine in a skip -lucky me it was in its box and only 1st bag built. Behind the ears was a place I left out some pieces so maybe they're for there or the fun of a rebuild in prospect

I just finished building my #75159 Death Star over the last week or so (been taking it slowly!), which has been brilliant fun...
However... I seem to have two 4x4 Dark Bluish-Grey plates left over, which I am positive came out of the last set of bags (bag 10) and I have no idea where they go! I've been all the way back through the instructions and cannot see anywhere that they should go!
Looking at the inventory, there are three 4x4 DBG plates listed and I've placed all three correctly, so I can only think that these are extras.

Yesterday I opened up #431279 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse. I ended up just having enough time to build Mickey, but had such a fun time seeing him come together.

Displayed on my shelf, the set really does bring me a lot of joy and causes me to smile ever time I've looked at it. I can't wait to add in Minnie!

It's been some time since I built mine, but I seem to vaguely recall that I missed some 1x2 plates in a step and had to go back and correct it. Couldn't begin to tell you where though other than somewhere in the head...

I built my birthday set #43114 Punk Pirate Ship yesterday and it was a delight. As I've stated multiple times, my only real complaint at all with the theme is the price! But the build itself, a lot of fun, and I love the outlandish color scheme of coral and teal. I am just really hoping they do release the second wave of Bandmates here in the US so I can get the last member of the Punk Pirate's band. All of the other figs are proudly displayed on the ship stage and look like they're having a blast pumping out some punk tunes (as usual, I'm not smart enough to remember to snap a photo to post when I'm still at home).

LOTR update! Finished (* = missing parts)

    #9476 Orc Forge (*11)
    #79013 Lake-Town Chase (*23)
    #9472 Attack on Weathertop (*54)

& all Lake Town figs missing except the guard 😫😫

I love the.Orc forge light brick feature, & the larger Lake Town building is really cool. Tackling Mines of Moria now! 👍

Built this set twice. I think one of the few technic sets that have very nice model B.
I also added a floor in the trunk and a separator wall so that the trunk is usablefor model B. Then created a  picknik basket to go inside from some remaining parts.
