My girlfriend now has flowers for life :) My wallet will be eternally grateful. I’ve told her to re arrange them every few weeks so it feels like a new fresh bunch of flowers. Also whoever decided to have the instructions on a black background with lots of dark green elements is an idiot.

Just built 60266 last week. Overall solid, but needs better storage for the boat and cage aboard ship.

Totally! I built Ninjago City Gardens and they have the dark brown elements on the black background - I could`t see in which order to add x1, 1x2, 1x4, 1x6 dk brown plates. No chance.

The owl tablecloth returns! Nice little build of #60305 Very simple system to allow the upper deck to hinge up and down.

Started building #75979 Hedwig last night. Got through bags 1 and 2 and am loving the mechanics so far. I'm really looking forward to finishing it off this evening and can't wait to put it on display.

I usually only motorize large sets, although occasionally I've temporarily motorized small sets, or driven a number of smaller sets off of a single motor.  Hedwig is so fantastic though that I think that may be the first sub-$100 set that I get its own permanent motor for.

^You'll have to post any progress you might make on this as I'd be very interested in seeing how one might go about it. I agree that it would bring this build to a whole new level.

I think JKBrickworks designed a good method for motorizing the set, as well as making the wing mechanism work more smoothly.

Found his video and motor mod. Not sure why I didn't think to check there previously as this is right up his alley. I like his wing modification to slow the decent slightly as well. I'll probably make that mod before I jump into bag 3 tonight.

I was also planning to piggyback off of his build, as he is pretty much infinitely better at these sorts of things than I ever will be :P

@Paperballpark great work again! You must have a lot of patience with all those tiny pieces. Very impressive.

After my fourth BL orders arrived, I set to building the flat wagon with the yellow load.
Once finished it was added to the back of the Crocodile loco on my shelf. Unfortunately it seems pretty fragile. The drop section in the middle is only attached to the raised boogie ends by a 1x6 line of studs, plus the turntable attached to the wheels is a bit stiff to actually run on track, which is a shame. A few mods and it should be usable. Lucky I only made it for static display .

I've just built this which arrived today: #30343 McLaren Elva

It looks much nicer than the official image on the bag, and it's far far better than the Lambo polybag #30342 from last year.

Plus you have to really pay attention to the instructions, as there's no parts call-out boxes, and no outlines of what pieces have been added!

Not right now, but earlier today I built my first of the 18+ SW helmets (the Stormtrooper). Not a bad build. I really like the end result. I’m looking forward to more. I think they’ll all display nicely alongside each other, and I hope the line has legs for at least another couple years. Really looking forward to the ones expected for 2021!

decisions decisions ... my silent invisible delivery person just snuck up and left a package from LEGO on my doorstep with #76385 Charms Class #76384 Herbology Class with the freebies #30628 Monster Book and #30567 Police Water Scooter ... where do I start?

For the curious I already have #76383 Potions Class and #76382 Transfiguration Class is on its way

Really loving the Helmet line. Amazing techniques to get the shapes involved. 3rd of 4 now complete.

They are also fantastic display pieces and look great together.
Only the Fett man to do, then the anticipation waiting for the details of what's coming this year.

Finally got a chance to restore set #6392, bought aeons ago as part of a bulk lot.  I enjoyed sourcing the bricks and building it, loved the airplane and helicopter. Some parts substitution and 99.9 complete minifigs.   Nice play feature that you can open the cabin.
Next builds from the lot will be classic space...

I really like these skylines @JudgeChuck so simple yet instantly recognisable. A 1x1 cone and a train conductors paddle and we have a Hoth cannon, genius.
I built the same tensegrity sculpture a while back, but from random colours I had in my unsorted brick pile, one day I'll do it properly.

Decided it was time to frame all the minifigure series I have. At first I tried using white for the stands but with an orange base it felt wrong, so I coloured matched the stand with the base. Although since the frames (sannahed) don’t arrive on Sunday I don’t know what the final product will look like.

Still really cheesed off that Ikea stopped the Ribba 50x50 frames in black. I still need one more to complete a wall of the LEGO room, then I can start to find some different ones to use. 35x35 is the biggest the Sannahed comes in, which is an odd size
