I can't figure out how to get the video from my phone to here! Sorry.
I don't believe it's possible to directly upload video to the forum. Either the video would have to be uploaded to a video sharing site (like YouTube, Vimeo, etc) or put in a shared public folder like on Dropbox or Google Drive and that link shared.

In other words, it's a lot more involved than just simply sharing a photo.

    @560Heliport
I have all 4 Unitron sets and they are among my favorite space subtheme. It's too bad they were limited to just 4 sets.  I have a monorail running between each end of my city, and ended up getting the track from #6399 Airport Shuttle from someone who posted an advertisement for them here on Brickset and actually lived very close to me. I think it was a hundred bucks total, which I could've easily spent on just the straight track pieces. Later that night I was showing the monorail track to a friend who was over for drinks and explained how rare those sets are and how expensive they'd become on the secondary market. I was showing him the listings on eBay and there was #6991 for a buy-it-now of $175.00. One hundred seventy five dollars. All the other ones for sale were 5, 6 hundred bucks. We looked at each other and my buddy says "Mark, click the button." It arrived a few days later almost entirely complete save for a few odds and ends bits. I can't rebuild it in its entirety as the motor and sleds are being used and I'd have to take the train apart, but I know it's there waiting if I ever do. Also, #1789 Star Hawk II is one of my all time favorite sets.

You've inspired me to consider filling gaps in my subthemes.  I am missing several M:Tron and Space Police II sets and am concerned that TLG's increasing meddling with BrickLink will make that into something that is no longer a viable option. But that's a discussion for a different thread

Assembling CMFs one bag at a time isn't as fun as mixing em all up first.

@560Heliport thanks for the pictures! When did these come out? I vaguely remember being fascinated by them in a catalog with #2152 on it.(I was 8, so 23 years ago, but I thought these are older than me?)
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,275
The Unitron monorail #6991 came out in 1994, the other three Unitron sets in 1995. They could well have been in a 1997 Shop@Home catalog!

@SumoLego you can go outside and play after you finish painting the basement.

Today's builds: what I call the "Green Windshield" subset of Classic Space. I really wish I had #6940 Alien Moon Stalker.

I'm clearly never leaving my house.  Maybe I should actually start building some sets!

I've also decided to put a drop ceiling in my basement as well.  That should keep me occupied until COVID-32: Electric Boogaloo.

I really must rebuild all of mine at some point.

@KungFuKenny no, just 924. But I have a lot of the other early Classic Space. I remember trying to build a 924 with parts from #462 , #493, and the rest of my bricks. I used the 4x4 radar dishes for the main engines.

4842 a big mix box of kid lego that i was enthusiastic about but now sore knees ,tired eyes , and missing pieces ,I'm enjoying the build but missing pieces is a killer ,2 manuals and the pieces and manual for left section is missing, I made most of the city sets but there's marvel ,batman and line ranger in there too, I'll try getting rid of them as they're built  ,won't be expecting much -it's clean but kid played and broken up

I just put a bunch of white parts in hydrogen peroxide under the blacklight, so the rest of my Classic Space will have to wait a bit. I might build #6769 Fort Legoredo tonight.

^ I'm impressed with your fantasy re-animated minifigure.

Definitely not a monster.  Should not be categorized as a monster.

I don't know what to build tonight... more Classic Space? More Western? Vikings? Pirates? This stay-at-home stuff would be a lot harder without my half-million LEGO!

Western was such a fun theme! Thanks for sharing @560Heliport! You're right about the train, it does fit in perfectly.

As a train nut, I should like to point out that it needs proper steam locomotive driving wheels. Then it will fit in "perfectly". :p
