Doing a WonderWord is a bit too obvious.
de rigueur over here and my lawn is the envy of the neighbourhood!
As for the molehills that are just out of shot, they make onlookers weep in envy.

Basically getting all the building out of my system before the little one arrives in the AM...
Sorry for the very quick snaps!
That's looking great @JudgeChuck! Looking forward to seeing the final build and your overall thoughts on it. Definitely feeling more and more like I need to have this in my life!
Again, apologies for a very quick snap with a cluttered background. I'll try to find a few minutes to take a better pic.
You can see the scale of it though. It's impressive in size. I think whoever made the MOC has managed to capture the overall look of the creature really well and it's an excellent building experience. I especially like the head and the way he has captured the four tusks and trunk.
The only criticism that I have of it is that the legs cannot be posed much, due to the weight of the model, which caused the shoulder and hip joints to collapse, if they're posed far away from vertical. This is entirely down to the lack of friction in the Technic joints.
Other than that, I'd heartily recommend it, it's a brilliant model! I just need to dig out some LoTR minifigs to pose with it.
Are you going to try to recreate the Haradrim minifigs that B3 used in their promo photos?
Also, recommended age is 11 & up which I strongly disagree with. Highly challenging build.
Front wheels turn!
there are some strange shock absorbers.
I'm quite impressed with the Wickedbrick display box for the Claus Brickheadz.
Also, I realized they couldn't simply edit all the puffins out for the Ach-To scenes, but did they really need to make them an actual part of the storyline?

My wife said she saw the Grand Carousel and thought it was really neat looking. I swear she was hinting that I should just go buy it. I swear!
Please confirm that this will NOT be the start of another slippery path in the life of a completely innocent AFOL!
...however, my set arrived without a sticker sheet! I looked through both instruction booklets about a hundred times to make sure it wasn't stuck between pages or something random like that.
Off to CS to resolve the issue!
