However, as this was a direct link to an international retailer, the onus lies with them, not with me. But, to be safe, I gave directions on how to locate the set.

(They are a bit small to see).
Definite must have for me! The picture is really small but I think the ship will look very nice next to all my other sail ships #10210 , #4184 , #4195 , #9446 , #7048 . Not only that I think she will be a beauty!
The minifig's look good too. I just wish that instead of more Aragorns, gimliis, and legolasses, the set would include more dead men from Dwimorberg, pirates, and orcs (with pointy ear hair-pieces pretty please!).
Four new sets for August, all of which were fantastic.
79005, The Wizard Battle, £12, small set featuring Saruman and Gandalf the Grey.
79006, The Council of Elrond, £30, looks pretty much like I remember it from the film, and features Elrond, Arwen, Frodo and Gimli.
79007, Battle at the Black Gate, £60, which we've all seen and which contains Aragorn, Gandalf the White, Mouth of Sauron and two Mordor Orcs.
79008, Pirate Ship Ambush, £90, quite a reasonable ship using the usual parts. I think it has three mid-sections. Brown sails, nine minifigs: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, King of the dead, two soldiers of the dead, Pirate of Umbar, which the guy on the stand reckons is supposed to be the one played by Peter Jackson, and two Mordor Orcs."
All sounds very good to me. Although I am not sure I want to buy 10 ships to get a reasonable Army of the Dead .... Maybe Lego will produce an Undead promo bag for the Sun ???
I was hoping for more love for the first two movies before moving onto the third, such as:
Black Riders chasing Arwen & poisoned frodo across the river.
I'd love an Edoras set, with a reversible withered/recovered Theoden, Grima & Eowyn.
Or perhaps Boromir's last stand at Amon-Hen (?) vs a properly dressed and equipped Lurtz (topknot hairdo, etc), and his band of Uruk Hunters. ... for this I had the idea to use a black carrot top (as the arrow) and stick it into one of those 'L' shaped 'vests' that go over minifig torsos. :oP
And Battlepacks... if we must race through the movies like this then this theme is crying out for battlepacks right now, be they Moria goblins, Rohan warriors, Elves, Morgul Orcs, Warg Riders, Southrons/Easterlings, Deadmen of Dunharrow, etc. for the fight scenes.
Gondorian Knights. Faramir's Rangers, Flying Nazgul, Gothmog, the Siege of Minas Tirith.
Where is the 'Battle' in the Black Gate without the armoured trolls, masses of morgul orcs, etc. It's more of a 'name calling' at the black gate.

Aragorn:Let the lord of the Black land come forth!
Mouth of Sauron:ugly
Aragorn:butt face
MoS:froggy breathe
A:loser
MoS:asshole
A:hey there is no need to get really offensive. If your gonna be like that we will stop playing
MoS:sorry. I tend to get carried away. Hug and be friends?
Crack, smash, thud.
MoS: hey! You killed sauron thats not fair. You never wanted to be friends? Well boo to you sir. Boo to you.
Aragorn: : There must be ten thousand orcs between frodo and mount doom, we must draw them out!
Gimli: You'd better be right, Aragorn. Gandalf said moria was full of goblins... two i counted. Two.
Gandalf: Master Gimli, we clearly took a safer path than anticipated, perhaps we'll encounter more goblins later... in a flashback sequence or something. I'm expecting quite a life-changing encounter from there myself.
Boromir (alive and confused): You're not kidding, Gandalf.
later... at the Black Gate
Hello, where'd everyone go? Yoo-hoo! Anybody home?
Legolas: ...I think they're out, guys. Should we leave a note or something, you know, to let them know we called?
Gandalf,: I still have the seeing stone, I'll give Sauron a call, see where he is... Oh look, someone's coming...
MouthofSauron: Err... yeaaaah, about the orcs... look guys, I dropped the ball. I had this whole battle planned, and i was going to throw a shirt at you, but I just got snowed under with paper work.
Meanwhile, at the foot of mount doom...
Sam: Well that was easy, mr frodo! What a joker that Mr Elrond was, with his threats of doom and terrible monsters. I'm not sure what the fuss was about now.
Frodo: Nor me sam, nor me. Oh look, an eagle.
Sam: it's quite lovely here, isn't Mr Frodo. Could do with a few flowers, mind.
Frodo: Yes Sam, very warm, too.
As for the game itself: As a board gamer, I'm glad to see something that looks more meaty than the typical LEGO game. Also, it will be nice to have the microfigures. To be honest, I'm looking forward to this game more than the second wave of LoTR sets.
It's too bad the text is cut off in the photo. It looks like the characters included are, from left to right: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Theoden, Eowyn, Haldir, Rohan Soldier (?), Berserker Uruk-Hai (?), Uruk-Hai Archer, Uruk-Hai (?), and Uruk-Hai Soldier (?).

What has roots that nobody sees,
who is taller than the trees,
Who goes, who goes,
and who yet never grows?
