Yes, Huw and his workforce of elves seem to have added a 'parts' tab to some sets. I for one am extremely pleased about this! Nice one Huw!

Where you been the last few months Si? :-)

It's still a work in progress, due to the incomplete inventories at LEGO.com.

If you want to see some other w.i.p. which is equally as useful, check out http://www.brickset.com/parts/

Hahahha .. ooops! Seem to have missed that news article, apologies.

Havent noticed it on many sets though, I guess it's just creeping in gradually.

^ I'm really loving where this is going :o) ...

It's on about 4500 sets, which is all the sets that LEGO has replacement parts listings for.

Ooh, liking the parts browser @Huw. Have had to do this so often in the last couple of months and it can get pretty click-heavy on BL.

The parts browser is a fantastic help for me and the minifigs :)

As I have been explaining to Caroline by email (you have her to thank for the inspiration behind it) it's only as good as the data we have, which comes from 2 sources: the replacement parts page at Lego.com and somewhere else that I won't reveal here in case it causes problems.

By combining the two data sets, the parts listed at Lego.com can be categorised. Unfortunately the second data source doesn't cover around 40% of the parts so there are a lot that are uncategorised and which don't appear in the listings. I need to explore ways that the information can be crowdsouced so we can collectively fill in the gaps.
