And just to note: I'm not concerned about box condition, and actually wouldn't mind if the box were pre-discarded, especially if it would cut down at all on shipping.
I'm in US east coast and am willing to send these out at my cost + any fees and shipping for those who actually want the sets for themselves or gifts for friends/family, not for resale. I am willing to ship overseas, but please understand the implications of the shipping costs and potential custom fees on your end.
I had someone offer me one via e-mail, but have not heard back yet.
I am still looking for one of these, so if anyone has an extra, PM me.
To those of you in LUGs, I hope you hook up your LUGmates with finds like these. After 4 trips to Wal-Marts I bought several of these sets and will keep 2 for myself, selling 3 to LUGmates at cost and the last copy will go to another LUG member so we can draft this set in the near future.
Seriously though, being in a LUG is awesome. Multiply your buying power by that of the members in the group who look out for each other and it would be difficult to NOT find and take advantage of deals like this.
A "mine" is a terrible thing to waste...
Looking at the inventory for this set I agree that it would be a lot to sort prior to drafting but it could be fun. It would have to be done outside a LUG meeting or at the Xmas party?
Last year we drafted the Forest Police HQ and that set had 231 unique lots. This set has 302 unique lots so yeah-this set would be a major time consumer if we were to draft it.
