When does it update, Huw?
^ PS, congrats! Are you going to have a 'million party'?
(I really think people should be doing this!)
Anyway, all your efforts have paid off as we're now over 1,000,000,000 !

Just think what we could build with that !
Although a slightly more sobering question : how many are sealed in MISB sets...? I know a fair number of mine are, although probably/hopefully less than 50%
I have about 150K pieces, and I think 20% sealed :)
I believe that means the documented inventories of Brickset users accounts for .2% of the pieces manufactured. By the time you factor in another year of production, undocumented loose pieces, duplicate sets, extra pieces, and pieces destroyed, this probably does not accurately reflect the number of Lego pieces owned by Brickset users.
@Si_Dorking_Surrey_UK
I remember reading on a PAB box promo I got some years ago that the average amount of bricks per person was around 80. It was covered in a bunch of other interesting facts as well. I wish that I hadn't thrown it away.
So it probably isn't accurate, but it also probably isn't off by an order of magnitude either...
We have more minifigs between us (6 425 000) than there are people in Denmark (5,587,085) :o)
