I have a feeling this set will be almost impossible to ever find at retail. Even with the upcoming second run LEGO is supposed to be doing, I would bet the entire restock sells out in hours.

I dumped my only copy when it hit $80. Wish I had a few more to help fuel other purchases.

Having NEVER had any success ordering from B&N online I called customer service to make sure they actually has these sets instock to ship. Of course they DO NOT and this was merely a pre-order. B&N are ordering 5000 units and these will arrive in 4-6 weeks. As my orders were for resale I promptly cancelled. I think I am done wasting my time with these clowns. So don't feel bad if you missed this deal as it never actually existed.

I just got a 'Scheduled to Ship' email with a ship date of October 2nd. Seems like they had a few copies and decided to back-order more..

Hopefully you receive yours. My order status said shipping 10/3/12 as well but was informed by the phone rep that this was a pre-sale only and they never had any instock. Similar stories on SD. Good luck.

I just got an email saying my 5 shipped via UPS today. I received a tracking number that has been uploaded to the system. I imagine that means they truly have shipped. We will see in a day when there should be complete info on the tracking status.

Good job! The moronic (thank goodness) CSR only cancelled 1 of my 10. I will see if my remaining 9 ship on the 3rd! I really cannot take this outfit anymore.

I remember when they first announced this as a set and some people were predicting that it wouldn't sell well. They thought the stores would have to clearance it at a steep discount at the end of the year.

I bought mine from Amazon at normal retail price awhile ago.

The demand just outstrips supply by several orders of maginitude.

Mine have expected delivery date of 10/8. There did not appear to be a limit to purchase so Im sure more than a few resellers scooped up many 10s or more at a time. I would have but was afraid of having an order cancelled. 5 will be sufficient of an experiment for me for now :)

One of my friends went to PaxPrime in Seattle (gaming convention) and according to him, the Minecraft booth had a lot of these sets. He was able to get one of them at MSRP. :(

If only I had known he went to the convention and there was a Minecraft booth.

So jealous.

Minecraft booth? Who would a thunk. Did they have one for Borderlands 2? :-) Awesome game. I have a title of 'Splatter Witch". And, I'm such a nice person. How'd that happen? The title I mean. Not me being nice. :-)

Awww... really? Minecraft AND Lego at Pax? Man, that's one thing I really miss about living in Vancouver. Awhile back I even got a Lego Universe promo (just a bunch of printed tiles, but still neat).
