    I don't want to be on the list. As a kid I became an expert at finding, unwrapping and in some cases playing with Christmas presents that my parents had bought and hidden away. I would then put everything back as if I had not been there.
    As a result Christmas day was something of an anti-climax, so now I prefer the element of surprise.

    Just beat me to it. Maybe everyone is expecting TLG employees to come smashing through the windows at the first mention of it.

    I would rather like to know, if for no other reason that I would love an AT-AT and don't want to set myself up for disappointment.

    I think no one's posting it since it's still technically a 'rumor' at this point (though several different sources have confirmed it to be the same thing), but I think most people on here are going to be A LOT more excited about the (rumored) September model than the May one. They really got them backwards, if you ask me.

    @y2josh I think it makes sense releasing them in that order, if you release what is due in September first, then the other may be a slight anti climax (even though I can't wait for it personally).

    I enjoy the rumours, not the endless requests for PM's, If I knew what it was going to be and could post it then I'd move onto my hopes about the actual model, power functions, build techniques etc.

    Can those in the know at least tell us if we can expect UCS display pieces or play sets or one of each.

    I get that logic for most IPs, but I would think you'd want your big Star Wars model to tie-in to the big Star Wars event, rather than launch something I feel will be about as popular as the B-Wing to tie-in to said event.

    Either way, if the $400 price point is accurate, I think that one's going to be an extremely tough sell.

    I like the premise, but the cloud city would have to be 90% landing platform if they were to actually go together. Otherwise they're merely slightly related.

    Great question!

    Will be interesting to find out who KNOWS what we're getting and who's just blindly passing on what they were told by pm ie. continuing a rumour.

    Playsets or display sets? Figures or no figures?

    So, who thinks they know???

    @CaptAPJT all those points are still up for confirmation as there aren't pics yet hence the silence: Display vs Playset, functions, minifigs, part count.

    Valid point, but I think with some exceptions you can guess whether it would be a display model or a playset. As for mini figs, makes no difference to me. The $400 rumored price for one set can let us assume a piece count of circa 2,500.

    Right. So about 800 more pieces for "only" $260 extra... thus why I say an extremely tough sell (barring whatever photos may reveal, of course).

    And I would guess they're both display models, but again... no pictures to go off of. Neither makes sense as a playset, though.
