I have been visiting brickset for a short while now but only joined today.

I have recently fallen back in love with Lego, this has been furthered with the store opening in meadowhall. So far I have focused my collecting on the modulars and also tracking down the winter village in preparation for Xmas. I can't believe how excited Lego makesme feel again!

    Hi,

What good timing for coming out of your dark ages. Enjoy the opening tomorrow and good luck finding all the winter sets.

    Hi and Welcome back!

I came out of my dark ages earlier this year after seeing my friends Super Star Destroyer, always loved that ship from the films and have gone way too nuts trying to catch up with all the Lego Star Wars sets.

Oh and I'm also from Sheffield!

We're building up a wee Yorkshire army of fans now. Welcome along. If you see a tall, thin guy with a ginger daughter in tow at the Sheffield store, that may well be me.

Who would have thought that so many of us would be from Sheffield. Well actually after being at the store yesterday I now don't find it surprising at all.

^^^ I saw someone on Sat at the Lego store wearing a TyoSolo shirt, either was you or you are selling shirts to your fans!

Yeah, I'm West Yorkshire, I just happen to spend a lot of shopping time in South Yorks because Donny and Barnsley are my closest towns.

    Welcome!

I spent 3 marvellous years in Sheffield while at Sheffield Uni, and I loved the place (even the bus drivers called everyone 'love').

I think some sort of Sheffield/locals meet up would be great. I would love to pick a few brains about ideas for builds or sets etc.
