What is the size of the Death Star 10188-1?

My daughter (and I for that matter) really wants the Death Star. Space is a concern however. Would someone be able to give me dimentions of the built model at it's widest points? Thank you!!!

    It's a globe shape approx 46cm diameter and the superlaser dish sticks out a little more. You will find space for it!

    I didn't measure W, H or D, but I weighed it, it's 4.8 kg.

    Seems like I remember it being 16" x 16 1/2 ". It doesn't sound that big but it is. The word ... AWESOME comes to mind :-)
