Question about Grand Opening and Monthly Model Build Sets

I'm currently compiling a few BrickLists for all polybag sets released in the last 3 years. My question is, I'm not sure if the grand opening sets and the monthly model build sets are considered polybag sets, since I don't own any.

Could somebody tell me please.

MMMB - no, not polybagged. The parts are delivered the shops as individual parts; the staff either pre-sort them into zip-lock bags, or allow the public to pick the parts they need from pots on the day (it's up to the store how they run it).

Grand Opening - *most* of the Grand Opening sets have come pre-sorted in a zip-lock back with colour photocopied instructions. The newer fig selections come in a plastic pack like the 'Build A Minifig' pack. The 'Brick Apple' set came as a proper polybagged set, but I think that might be the only one ... I never saw the unopened London Bus & Copenhagen packs in the flesh, but I've been told they came in 'service pack'-style zip-lock bags.

The London Bus was a proper polybag, I believe. @DrDaveWatford will be able to confirm.

^ Excellent work and what BrickLists were designed for...

From Bricklink, it looks like the London & Copenhagen grand opening sets were both released in 'service pack' style zip-lock bags -

Great bricklist; glad I'm not obsessive about collecting polybagged sets!

Thanks guys, look out for lists from other years in the coming weeks. I'm hoping the community can chip in with extra information about where some of these polybags can be procured.

Unfortunately, I am obsessed with these things, they are great fun to trade.

^^ Correct - the London grand opening set wasn't a sealed polybag, it was indeed a service-pack style ziplock-type bag.

The Phoenix store was also a regular ziplock. I was kinda hoping for a polybag, though.
