Haunted Houses need scary sounds. Does anyone know of any haunted house-type sound bricks? I found a scary fz CD from an old Studios set, but was thinking more along the lines af a sound brick.

If you are familiar with Dept 56 collectible houses you could buy the retired Haunted Mansion and put that sound box in the Lego set. It also has flashing lights that will illuminate the house in unison with the sounds. They have other Halloween buildings with sound boxes and lights as well but I can't remember if the sound boxes are removable like the Haunted Mansion.

Actually, Dept 56 may have stand alone sound boxes as well. Lemax, which makes cheaper holiday houses, may have sound boxes to work as well.

Also, you can go to Michaels and buy mini strobe lights to put in the Lego house. Seems they might have sound devices that would work as well.

Was thinking of doing this myself. Going to put in some led lights and should be easy to find some small sound device with a timer I can get in there somehow.

The sound brick has been very under-utilized in my opinion. I have a feeling it's an expensive part. And it seems only used in "" sets that need a boost.

The Haunted House is the absolute perfect set for a sound brick. PERFECT! I mean if you can create a sound brick for the Grand Carousel, Revvin' Riders; Agents Mission 5: Turbocar Chase; Monster Dino; and the Hillside House, why not the haunted house?

By the way, the sound brick for the Hillside House - door bell w/ barking dog is fantastic. And the Agents Mission 5 set w/ a prisoner escape alarm is also really cool.

I do have the Hillside House and Grand Carousel bricks. While both are wonderful, they don't really match the theme of the Haunted House! The Duplo one mentioned above might be a good fit for sounds, but it is so large it wouldn't be a good fit (literally) in the model. Perhaps on the roof. I'm a Lego purist so only Lego parts can be used!
