I'm game for round three. How can I not be after how awesome I was treated the first round? My space truck is now complete minus custom stickers...pics to be added to my Flickr shortly.

@murphquake and @gir3691 and I are all friends so if we go at the same time we can just hand the box off to each other.

Same for @BrickRiver and me - we're both in NELUG and so could hand offf between us for our leg of the journey.

Hoping I can schedule some time to visit the now quasi-infamous Queens Lego store and meet up with some of the NYers there ...

Aww, a NY taxi would have been great to find in the box, but I think I'm pretty high up on the list. I'm still excited, though. Can't wait!

Sorry to hijack this but I'm trying to make sure I understand this thread. Is this a box of LEGO that is passed around the USA, which you pull some pieces and replace with pieces and then ship to the next person on the list? I was trying to find another thread with this info but not seeing it.

If I'm correct, who is coordinating the list? I'd like to get in on the next phase (assuming there will be one after # 3).

Also on this box run, I wanted to throw a wrench in it :) Sooooo you don't necessarily need to mail to the closest/next person on list. Randomize it so that the same individuals don't receive the box in the same order as the last 1 or 2. All I ask is once you choose who you are mailing it to, PM me so I can mark them off my master list and we know how many people are still on box :)

Actually @jadeirene you may be high or low on list, the others will decide. I know some people were tired of being behind the same person/peoples so in this round I thought we could change it up a bit. Randomly pick someone off list, not necessarily the next one on list :) We shall see how this changes things :)

So, my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Will there be a post on this topic when the box starts moving or will a new topic be started? I'm hoping some pictures will be posted as it moves along as I wait for it to hit my house :)

Sry guys/gals, RL interferred a bit the last few days. I didn't take pics of the box on purpose, so everyone would be surprised as it was mailed around. So if someone would like to post pics, here would be fine or we can do a new flickr group.

I do ask everyone to either pm me or post on here when it is mailed to the next person, and I would appreciate a pm of who it was sent to so I can mark them off the master list I have.

@jvdrummer182 Yep there is a list in the box of everyone that wanted in on this box. And remember, you don't have to mail in order :)

I think that's correct so we know who has had the box and who hasn't.

@chooch Lol I took a few pics but forgot about it and wasn't getting all those bricks back out of their ziplocs just to take a pic. It has at least 40 snack-size ziploc bags in box plus the small set and polybags

@jadedanc Oh I wasn't worried about pics from you :) It will be fun to see what people receive each time and their comments. I don't want pictures of what people put in because that would spoil the surprise for the next receiver -
I do want to say Thank You for starting this. I was happily surprised to be included long after you started the list for mailing.

@Chooch That was exactly what I was thinking with the pics. :) And you are totally welcome! Everyone needs to have fun with Legos. So many people forget about that side of it. Can't wait to see what ya'll turn my bricks into by the time I get the box back :)

On a side note, please keep your thoughts and prayers with my daughters and my mom as Hurricane Isaac lands in south Louisiana. Wishing I was down there with them to hold and protect them, but I am still stationed in Tacoma WA area. So all I can do is worry like crazy...
