Page Number Links Disappear/Reappear Randomly

Please help me to know I am not going crazy.
I have been having a problem only on Bricksetforum.com where the links at the bottom of a page are disappearing, then reappearing, then disappearing, etc.

I have to move my mouse around clicking and waiting to "catch" the links to go to the next page (or back a page or to page 5, etc.). It is like a silly trick is being played on me.
What it looks like when the links are there.
What it looks like when the links are gone.

I'm using IE 8.0.6001, and it is not a problem when I use another browser (RockMelt or Chrome).

Thoughts?

You are not going crazy, the same thing happened to me a few days ago when i was trying to look through the marketplace feedback thread.

Until it stops happening, instead of waiting around you can just change the link in the URL bar manually. If it already ends in /pX just change it to the page you want /p1 to /p2 etc. If it has '#latest' just replace that with '/p1' etc.

I don't think Vanilla supports IE8, so it's unlikely to be fixed.

IE8 still has a 26% share of the desktop browser market share, so it ought to be fixed!

According to Google analytics for this site, 24% of visitors use IE and 34% of those use IE8, so that's 8% by my reckoning.

It's usually the case that the 'trendy' Mac-using standards-compliant tech companies and sites drop old versions sooner than they should :-)

Hard to believe I'm in the minority with IE (and IE 8). Only 24% use IE?
What's the majority? Some sort of Safari?
I'm on my iPad at the moment, so I'm a blended family of Microsoft and Apple products...

Here's the overall/global shares by major version number: marketshare.hitslink.com/browser-market-share.aspx?qprid=2&qpcustomd=0

Obviously the distribution on this forum is skewed by the large number of trendy people here :) Firefox is still my weapon of choice, as I have several plugins that I find useful for security testing.

@Huw - the disappearing links started again. I'm still on IE 8. Anyone else getting it?

    > I'm still on IE 8.

That's your answer and solution :-)
