@kevinhink will you be there at the LEGO booth?

@hleonffu Unfortunately not, but my boss Jim Foulds will be there to help coordinate the fan involvement and assist at the LEGO booth as needed.

Rumor is that a Boba Fett set, in a tin similar to the Darth Maul one from Comic Con, will be available at the SW Celebration. Anyone seen this yet?

Thought that too. That would be cool if it's packaged in its own poly like the Darth Maul SDCC one and it's a new version of Boba Fett.
So far on ebay these things are goin' for like $175 or so.

The Darth Maul tin started out way high when the first listings came in, too. It should hopefully drop down below $100 in short order... Unless of course there actually is something special about the Boba minifig... We need to see one opened up already!

^...sob..no...not at Celebration VI. Probably I'll be there next year. If I can't find one on eBay for a decent price I'm hoping at NYC Comic Con I can snag it from a dealer there.

If someone could confirm whether or not the figure that comes with the set is exclusive or not, that'd be fantastic!

I just got a message from an eBay member:

    My question:
    Hi
Do you know if the Boba Fett minifigure included in the set is exclusive to the tin, or if it's the same Boba as the one included in set #8097 Slave 1?
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Answer:
No. It is the one from the new Skiff set.

Sounds like it isn't exclusive.... disappointing.

Haven't they re-designed enough Boba Fetts in the last 2+ years?
  • BanditBandit Member Posts: 890
^ There can never be enough Boba Fetts. :)

Woohoo! I can have this 'exclusive' minifig without selling a kidney. "Skiff please!!"

    ^ @flump

yep, because as we all know, a kidney is significantly more valuable when left in the original container. :oP

Doesn't seem like we have any forum members attending this event... I was hoping to trade the SDCC Darth Maul for one of these.
