    Me SDD+ Podracers
    DrDave AT-ST + Tie Advanced
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,272
SSD and MF are the standout bargains there. Already have the MF, would have been interested in the SSD + TIE Advanced, but both are claimed. Do need the Y-Wing but the price is not so attractive (although still pretty good).
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
    Well

    Pete - SDD £150
    Pete - POD £40
    DrDave - ATST- £50
    DrDave - Tieadv £90

depends what your willing to pay etc so if interested ad your name and set plus amount to the list if we reach the BIN before auction end etc we have a winner!

I have asked if he would sell for less for COD and No ebay fees etc
  • atkinsaratkinsar Member Posts: 4,272
    Ok:

    Andy - Y-Wing £150

    Sorry, I can't help.
The only one of these that interests me is the SSD too.
    £150 seems very cheap.
Adding up all the set prices comes to around £1600, which is a bit short of the £1850 buy it now price, so I guess that you're offering quite a bit less.
You might want to remove that comment about COD, etc., since it's against the listing rules.

I think he's got his prices on most about right. But some are too high - the shuttle can be had for virtually same price sealed off amazon.it
The major draws are the Y-wing and MF - I think someone will pull the trigger at BIN before listing ends............

Put me down for the Falcon. I know a man who needs one. As cheap as possible :-)
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
It's not a matter as cheap as possible, as i would need all the funds in my account so i can pay cash on collectio etc.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas TexasMember Posts: 8,409
I would take the falcon for that auction's estimate of 650 Euro in value. :)

I shudder to think of what it would cost to ship over here, but since it has the box and instructions, you can put me down for that price.
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
    £650 = 830 euro
  • SirKevbagsSirKevbags Fairy Land Member Posts: 4,030
    Cash is no problem Pete.

  • SirKevbagsSirKevbags Fairy Land Member Posts: 4,030
If you can get it for any less that's a bonus.

Except, as has been mentioned - the buy it now figure is higher then the sum of his individual figures (£1590). Or are you planning on this being a sub auction where people will get out bid?
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
wer still £700 short if he won't budge on the bin price.
  • cheshirecatcheshirecat Member Posts: 5,332
If its the latter, I'll take the imperial shuttle for £40 and Obi Wans Jedi Starfigher for £15. Now you're only £645 short. (I notice that DrDaves valuations aren't the same as on ebay).
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
^ i take you are not serious then :-)
  • hantothantot UKMember Posts: 282
:-( seems like i missed out on the falcon by a few mins darn
  • jgadgetjgadget Member Posts: 192
    Yeah, Dave's a bit tight.
I'm not sure it helps you Pete, but I'll pay £200 for the SSD. :-)
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
^ not really just put a higher price you are willing to pay for it and it's yours.

^^^^^ No deadly, if someone else wants to pay more then let them - its the only way you'll get close to the asking price. But otherwsie, i'm good for £55.

I do think everyone needs to realise, that some of the prices already listed (AT-ST and Tieadv) are below his prices on the ebay listing and even if you got all of them up to his prices you're still £200+ short of the BIN price. So without some serious 'up-bids' on whats there now you won't get close to the buy-it-now price.

Not trying to be an arse, just trying to help.
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
    but it's not helping,

I f we don't get close to the BIN then there is no Lego.

  • cheshirecatcheshirecat Member Posts: 5,332
But, you're £55 closer now than you were 5 minutes ago. I'm sure someone else will want those sets more than me.

On a slight aside - how much in pounds is about average for a 10179 Falcon now? I'd definitely like to pick one up eventually although I don't want to try and take this when Kevbags has his name on it.

put me down for £700 for the falcon
  • WatfordScottyMWatfordScottyM Member Posts: 455

  • hantothantot UKMember Posts: 282
@Matthiasjk only been looking for a few months but seen them go on ebay for between £650 and £3k, although the £3k was quickly re-listed when no one paid
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806

  • YellowcastleYellowcastle Northern VirginiaAdministrator, Moderator Posts: 5,208
^^^@kevbags - Normally I'd agree, but there will probably have to be a bit of flexibility here since the group is collectively trying to hit a target.

Now the total we've got to is above the current bid is it worth sticking in a bid on eBay to test what his reserve might be?
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 806
