I just saw the lego apple poly bag, which is amazing :-)

I'd love to make a bowl of lego fruit for display. I'm not experienced enough to really MOC them myself, are there any other designs out there I could try and copy or even with instructions? *crosses fingers*
Thanks

Trust me, have a go first. Building your first MOC always seems daunting but you have to start somewhere. Rather than hunting for instructions, look for examples and techniques used. Better still though, look at what bricks you have and run with it - even if the colours are wrong. Just make sure that the bricks you need in the right colours actually exist (use Bricklink for that).

Building sets is fun, but building MOCs earns kudos. The sooner you start, the better IMO...

Even without much experience, I think it should be a pretty straightforward task to build fruit models since they are solid and relatively simple shapes. I'd suggest using the Brick Apple as the starting point of a prototype for the other fruit you intend to make.

I'll give it a go, thanks guys. I like the core in the apple, but I think I'll just go for solid shapes, based on that. Not sure I've got enough variety of pieces, which is why I wanted instructions to go to bricklink with.
I'll keep you posted if I get anywhere with this project :)

^ The Brick Apple is currently available at the NYC brand store.
