I also bought 2 Hoth Bases. I'm going to be in TN tomorrow and thought I would just do an instore pickup over there, since the closest TRU is 45 minutes the other direction. I live in Missouri. Ends up I saved $8 by paying my tax and getting free shipping, instead of picking it up and paying TN tax. I've never had any trouble with TRU shipping... maybe this will be the time, LOL.

Got a hoth base and tie fighter. The tie fighter was a pretty good deal, $14 off RRP. The prices are same in store as online, but the promo in store is a free series 6 or 7 minifig with $20 Lego purchase.

This is tough on me - the closest TRU is an hour away, and while I could just order the Hoth Base online, I have a $10 off a $50 or more purchase coupon for in-store only sitting on my desk taunting me.

The Hoth Base has the exclusive figs in it but the set does nothing for me. Seems incomplete if you ask me.

I will disagree here. I this this set will do ok. It's a base (not many in the SW universe) and the exclusive figs are from Empire. I think that helps. Though the red protocol droid is odd and doesn't do much for many collectors.

I guess maybe it depends on the store. I went to a TRU in TN yesterday and it was regularly priced at $95 and below it was a sign that advertised it as 30% off and $66.xx.

I am not huge into Star Wars LEGO like many are; I'm more of a CITY and TRAINS guy, but I did pick up the Hoth Echo Base for $60 something and grabbed the free Ninjago polybag as well. My kids dig the SW minfigs, and I think that red protocol droid is pretty cool - it should fit right in with their chrome one and the regular gold one. Pretty good deal for all those minifigs at that price, IMO.

Buckled and bought the Hoth Echo Base with 1 more left on the shelf. My TRU didn't say anything about the Tie Fighter being 30% off but oh well. I can wait for a better deal on it seeing as it's a 2012 item(I hope).

I bought 2 with a $5.00 rewards coupon and got them for $38.74 each and the hidden sword poly :-) FYI ( free shipping also )

I picked up 7879 Hoth Echo Base from TRU for $66.49. I placed the order on 6/29. Got the box but no hidden sword poly. When I called about it they said supplies were limited and they were out of stock when my order shipped. The hidden sword promo is still listed as available on the site. Customer service said "Valid while supplies last". I wish they would take down the offer from the site if they don't have any left.

i've gotten 3 of them in the past few weeks in NYC at that price... actually last one was only $17.98 =-) 2 in good condition and the last one opened tape but all poly's sealed, grabbed a CMF to break 20 bucks and got a Free CMF too =-D Still have the first set I got for around 30 all built and the figs are mixed with my other SW stuff.
