Hi guys,
I was on the Brickset main site searching for a particular Lego set (Pirates of the Caribbean Black Pearl) and the site listed Chowren Toys as a retailer. They've got a pretty good price considering it's new and the shipping and I'm iffy on ordering this from eBay and Amazon... So I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered from them before? I'd like to but I'd first like to see if I can trust them lol. I've checked their Facebook page and the comments won't load for me and they haven't got many likes so yeah. Any feedback would be appreciated ^-^

    Hi, Petal,

I am one of the owners of Chowren Toys. We are a LEGO authorized independent toy reseller and have been in business for 11 years. We are also a registered business with Washington state. I believe that we have impress the brickset team enough to be included as one of the retailers listed on brickset. As someone mentioned here that we have perfect feedback on ebay and we have lots of repeat customers. I can't say all of our transactions are perfect but if anything goes wrong we stand behind every order to make it right. If you have further question feel free to contact us jack at chowrentoys.com (who is in charge of sales). Thank you and I hope you come visit our web site www.chowrentoys.com where you will find a huge selection of LEGO sets. Thanks

    Jason

They are fantastic, great communication, good prices and very quick shipping! I had forgotten the name of this store for a while and am so glad I saw your post as it reminded me! It's been doing my head in trying to remember their name so thanks!

Yep used them and cannot fault them at all. I even follow them on facebook for promotions that they run too. I am based in the UK but have had no issues with their shipping and customer service is fantastic.

Looks like the main topic on the front page was closed, but I just wanted to give some positive feedback now that I've bought from Chowrentoys. I took advantage of this offer they had earlier:

Everything was great from communication to shipping speed to customer service. They even went so far as to refund more than 33% of the S&H costs when they found a better option and switched the shipping to Fedex. That's going well above and beyond in my book. The sets arrived in great condition also. Will definitely buy from them again, thanks @LEGOMANWA and Jack.

I bought the Police Lambo set they had on special here on brickset a few weeks ago and was a great transaction. Set was packed very well and was shipped quickly.

I have not personally visited their store yet. I did try to make a deal with them for a King's Castle set on E-bay and I offered them what bricklink was stating the set was worth, they countered the offer by $5 (btw they were way more than the BrickCon show was asking). After a few counters and offers I just let the set go. I dont think it ever did sell on E-bay. I am glad my offer was not accepted as I won another set minus the box for about $100.

I did check them out online and they seem to have a pretty good selection. I live about 50 miles from them and I have family nearby so if I do buy from them I think I will just go to their store and save the shipping... and visit my Dad too!

Chowren sponsors Brickpicker.com and sometimes has special deals posted there, also.

^^I bought 2 of the Police Lambo sets from them as well. They even refunded some of the shipping cost. I would definitely buy from chowren again.
