Request Assistance with Batcave MOC

Im working on a MOC Batcave. I have most of the workings and details worked out...but one thing i cant seem to figure out is the Penny, Batman's Batcave has a Tyranasuar,Huge joker card,and a giant penny....im drawing a blank as how to build it, so im asking for ideas/help...i was thinking 3 to 4 plates thick max. thank you for any help.

4x4 round corner plates in reddish brown or tan for the general round shape (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30565), then tiles to make the face.

Alternatively, use curved slopes and SNOT bricks to make one, and use plate to make a mosaic of the face. It'll be one sideways brick-thick and about the right size.
