This makes me irate. They are clearly depicting the pt store Lego set yet list it as a duplicate set and offer no correction in the description. They also have no feedback. What a slimy person.
in the same why as die-cast toy vehicles that are made by Matchbox are called Matchbox cars.
but i do see the point you are making, ware as Duplo can loosely be called a Lego item. Lego can not be called Duplo.
{P.S. please note that them are Cyber cookies.}
[P.P.S. this thread need some cookie love, its why better then a cyber fight.]
I've attached some pictures so you can get an idea of the price difference and maybe understand that the people buying most likely had nor a clue they were actually paying for a duplo set not a Lego size pet shop.
Not everything needs to be a vanilla cookie-cutter... well. Bad example.

You both just made my day so much better.

One MF, 5 tumblers, 3 deloreans and batpod bike for £16,000!
it been spotted before.
is this over priced yes.
if i hit it big on the lottery would i buy it?
at full price no.
would i make a offer yes.
Why in the name of the good Lord are people 1. Buying a zebra batman? 2. Paying 600 dollars for it?
I just find that before some of us get a look at the ridiculousness, the auction or item is gone.
He did mention it was his last one but like you said it could easily be remade by someone with the determination to do so.
Price isn't ridiculous but the scale on those sets is massive. I'd be surprised of they could support themselves. Puts Legos UCS sets to shame
The "normal" blue that has been around since the ark is called, by TLG, "Bright Blue". This part is available in various shades that might be thought of as blue, but the Bright Blue version is only available in one set and is relatively rare. Calling it "true blue" is therefore justified to distinguish it from, say, the much more common (for that part) Medium Blue.
as i have done that before. :)
the very first one.
save 1€ per minifig... if you are from the US, pay retail price, don't get the minifigs.
Not sure if this belongs here or not, but the current bid of over 8k for something selling at less than 5k individually has me confused.
Have I missed a gem in here somewhere?
