I also just noticed that Amazon is matching the BN 10% discount sale.
V9N8W8R
H4V4K8D
That brings Weathertop down to $35.96 before tax.
Mill Village Raid and Hoth Wampa set are also available at full price, but with the coupon are great buys (if you're looking for either one) considering they're sold out basically everywhere.
Thank to the OP for the heads up and the other poster for the BN discount codes.
Having just built Weathertop, I agree that these sets are overpriced even for themed. However, at a 20-40% discount they are quite nice. There are some QC issues though. I noticed some color variation between dark tan bricks and the Nazgul's hood pops off very easily which is annoying. Anyone else find this?
$116.95 (B&N 10% discounted price)
-17.55 (using 15% off code)
- 9.94 (10% off by using Discover cashback gift cards mentioned above)
- 1.99 (2% ebates cashback on total - applied after first 15% discount, if it works)
-----------
$87.47 final price for Helms Deep, or 33% off before tax, not shabby for a new release.
I did the same for Weathertop, it came in at $33.62 before tax, or 44% off.
I'm going to have to sign up for a B&N membership for the 20% codes if their discounts remain valid on newly released LEGO sets, these deals are too good to pass up.

I used:
20% off $20 worth of toys coupon
15% employee card discount (thanks grandpa)
10% all home goods
So in total I got it for about $33. It is a decent sized set, but the license raised the price too far. Glad I got it when I did.

I may go for a Weathertop and Moria but not sure...
This is only the second LEGO set I've ordered online from B&N, although I've used many coupons in store (about $400 in LEGO over the past year, all bought with 20%+ off). I'm guessing that those with orders cancelled tried to take advantage of one of those deals that was too good to be true in the past (i.e. using multiple Groupons on the same order). Something like that will get your account flagged, and any future orders will be examined with more scrutiny.
