Honestly, @Legojack10231 I think you could have found many of these and the previous ones on your own. After sixty posts exclusively in this thread, perhaps it's time to give something back to the community by engaging in some other discussions? Not having a go, just a gentle suggestion.

Thank you for the honesty Mr_Cross. I’m new to searching minifigures. I’ve been building bricks and builds all this time. Having you guys help me find these torsos gives me an idea what keywords I need.

No. 2 doesn’t look like a Sith Trooper. Is it a different variation? Also what would be good key words to search for No. 1 ?

Try: Clone or Trooper or Armour. Failing that, trawl Star Wars here.
Nothing will help your searching skills like ploughing through pages on the Brickset main page and Bricklink and following a theme looking at the names.
I will freely admit it requires a lot of esoteric knowledge and educated guesses.

Clone troopers usually have that kind of torso with the curves underneath the breastplate.

2 is definitely a Sith Trooper, but with the red ones released with Episode IX this can make things a little confusing because the one you have is an Old Republic one.

Always happy to give some Star Wars context

I found many minifigures today using the techniques I’ve recently learned. These 3 I just couldn’t find. I tried many different combinations. Torso color, hose pattern, red panel, tan vest, red harness, dark bluish gray belt, arm color/hand color. Nothing seems to get a match.

I don’t have much time to find the detail right now but 1 is definitely a clone pilot torso and 2 is definitely a Hoth Rebel trooper, both from Star Wars. You could use those terms to find the torsos that matched.

3 looks like a coastguard torso from City

Thank you guys. I was able to complete the 3 minifigures. I actually entered “torso orange harness” when searching but I think I added a few more words so it didn’t give a match.

Friend from high school is selling ALL her sons LEGO.... I hope I get first dibs, but who knows.
can you tell any specific sets from this picture? I was only good enough to identify an 48x48 baseplate. Cheers!

The top disc from Mini Millennium Falcon #4488 is there. The DBG boat hull/deck piece could be from #92710, #92711, #60005, #60085, #4642 or #60147. You could use other pieces in the box to determine exactly which boat.

Unusually, it also looks like you have an exclusive DBG wall piece in there which only appeared in #4194 Whitecap Bay. If you had the rest of Whitecap Bay in there that would be very nice!

Everything else is pretty samey but you could look up that large brown curvy piece too.

I think some of the links aren’t working but you can use the numbers to find the pieces or sets!

There looks to be a Sand Red 4x4 plate- which only came in #4501 Mos Eisley Cantina.

The red door and frame next to the grey boat piece were made from 1973-1980... so there could be some really old parts and/or sets in there! Maybe your friend's childhood LEGO? I hope you get them!

Trans neon-green bubble canopy bottom right corner which means either #76025 or #70163.

Although if it's trans bright-green, more likely to be an Atlantis set in there!

I was told it was her son’s (now 18) sets and her husbands sets (he’s 46) from when he was a kid. And he grew up for a couple years in Czechoslovakia until he came to the USA at age 8.

Do you know what size the piece is (2x2, etc?)

It's not a sticker. It's feels like vinyl. It measures 14x14. The white holes are actual holes through the vinyl.

@skerper it's from set #7315 Solar Explorer from the Life on Mars subtheme of Space. Bricklink calls it White Plastic Square 14 x 14 with Solar Panel Pattern part no. x152px1

“dark orange utility belt”... I didn’t think of that.. Minifigure searches can get tricky.

There really is no reliable consistency at Bricklink, it's just a result of the many different people who create inventories and naturally describe things differently. Not a criticism, just the nature of the beast.
I would call that a design a harness or a gun belt before I hit upon utility...
FYI. I knew it was Star Wars (too many results) but actually found it by searching "dark tan torso" (only 8 pages) followed to top of page three... I should have started with "resistance" there's only 33 minifigs and this torso features three times on the first page!
I generally find a broader search term will net the item I'm looking for, but I need to look through more pages (sometimes unsuccessfully), the advantage of this approach for me however, is that I always, always find other interesting things I wasn't aware of! Onto the old wants list they go!

Thank you for this insight. I have found minifigures just by torso color and the accessories on them. Knowing the right name for the accessories is the tricky part.

These are from a used lot—I'm pretty sure they're not LEGO and I haven't been able to find them on Bricklink, but was hoping for a second opinion before I throw them out.

That gun is most certainly not LEGO! They won't make modern combat weapons.

During the early to mid 1980s, my parents bought me a space Lego set having a lunar-ish vehicle that has either 6 or 8 extended arms (3 or 4 on each side).  Because of the timeframe, i can assume it's part of the Classic Space collection but over the past few days of googling, i cannot find a single image of it anywhere.  I even looked at images in the lego catalogs from 1979 to 1987 and could not find this vehicle.  The closest one would be the 6880 Surface Explorer but that only has 2 arms (front and back).  The vehicle I had has the same gray tones but is slightly more bulky than the surface explorer.  Does anyone here remember, know or have the item im describing?  Before you say that I'm probably crazy and that it doesn't exist, let me tell you that about 1 year ago, i did see it on ebay.  I even remember having a brief nostalgic moment when i saw it, and i noted the name and lego number for it as well.  But i totally forgot about it until now.  Unfortunately i forgot the name and number for it as well.  I hope someone here knows the item I'm trying to look for.  (And also why it doesn't appear in any Lego catalog?!)

Brickset lists every Classic Space set here. If it's not in that list, it's potentially in a later subtheme of space.
I'm a pretty big fan of Space LEGO, but I'm not sure I recall something that closely resembles the kind of thing you've described, certainly within the era you mention at least.

Bricklink lists all the sets with those extending/bendable arms here.
Failing that, was it definitely LEGO? Tente and Tyco both had a space range in the 80s too.

See, that's the thing.  I cannot find it in any list, catalog, image, etc on the web.  Yes, I am 100% sure it was LEGO (because I never bought a building block set of another brand).  Thanks, I will keep looking and will inform you all if I find it again

Do you remember anything about the minifigs?  Colors, uniforms, etc?  That would help narrow it down also...

When I read the set description I immediately thought of #6928 Uranium Search Vehicle because it has many ‘arms’ and its more bulky than 6880. But it’s more blue than grey overall and apparently isn’t in any of the obvious catalogues. As Kenny mentions, minifigures, or even any specific parts included in the set like wheels or tools could provide a clue.

What comes to mind for me is #6901 Mobile Lab. It has just one bendy arm on the front, but six legs with wheels, it's grey, and came out in 1980.

 @560Heliport I thought #6901 too, limited release and afaik it's not in many catalogues, so that fits as well. It's just those doc ock arms on the side... I'm wondering about 'b' models?

Retail for sure.  It was bought at a local store so maybe jc penney, sears, target or even fedmart.  Those were all in the southern CA vicinity where i grew up

@Mr_Cross #6901 was a limited release? Interesting! The box says ©1979, but it's in my catalogs (US versions) for 1980, '81, '82, and '83!

Aye, limited to United States and Canada! It wasn't available in europe and I didn't know about it at all until about 2003. I did not know it was available for so long, I'd thought it was only around for a short while! I'm thinking that means they were struggling to shift the stock. It is a pretty ugly an aquired taste, so it's hardly surprising.
I think it's a fantastic set though, look what they did with so few pieces! Stop me before I start gushing about it again.

I'll match your gushing! My friend saw it in a store and described it as looking like an elephant, with a flexible trunk and big, flappy ears. I thought he was either pulling my leg... or insane... but he was right! After I bought one, my grandparents gave me another for my birthday. I returned it to Kmart, without a receipt, and then spent the money on, IIRC, a cap pistol and lots of caps. I don't know why I didn't keep it for the parts! Lots of good Space parts.
