Having now looked it up on Bricklink (the image above is from there), it shows the torso part as 'new' and doesn't list it as being in any sets.
Does anyone have any idea where it's come from? Lego surely can't have printed a new torso just to stick into BAM bins?
Up until now I think the new designs have mainly been colour switches of existing parts/designs so exciting to see exclusive designs appearing.
Yup, Lego.

These came from LEGOLAND Windsor in the early 2000s. They were specially manufactured for a life-sized B747 cockpit model that was on display in the model shop building at the top of the hill.
There were 'millions' left over so the park used them for filler, for plinths for busts, and also sold a lot off at Red Letter Day events and in the PaB, which at the time, was excellent.
I have several thousand parts in that colour which I also use for filler, and for DIY jobs around the house.
Many thanks in advance!
By the way, I’m amazed at how nothing remains a mystery on this thread thanks to the wealth of knowledge from our fellow Bricksetters.
Time to download the instructions and see if it’s all there amongst the random pieces :-)
Much appreciated guys!
@gelkster When I say ‘cases’, they certainly weren’t big ones. I’ll post a pic of one of them later. One had loose parts, the other an assortment of base plates. Some of the loose pieces were fake Lego too, so I immediately trashed them :-)
