@Paperballpark ignore as you see fit (due to the  fact I'm highly medicated, brain damaged and have spent the majority of my search with the night shift function on the phone on, I don't think that plate is Sand Green, I believe it's Light Green and circa early nineties ( though I'm yet to find a reference).
I do know the difference between Sand Green and Light Green y'know... This is very definitely Sand Green, and indeed that can be seen clearly in the photo.

^ As many sellers on Amazon like to point out, perceived color may depend on your monitor.

Can anyone identify these? They look like WWII soldier torsos.

Definitely custom prints. The one on the far right goes too far up the body to make it past Lego's quality control. Also, Lego explicitly avoid making anything war-related.

Thought maybe Indiana Jones Nazis would be similar? But I haven't looked at those sets in a while... In any case, these look very 'custom'.
  • wardward Member Posts: 17
They are not from Indiana Jones. I think indeed they are custom, I found a few more in the lot that look like army figures. Baby_Yoda: I didn't know about that signature of custom, indeed the print goes even up on top. Thanks all!

At first glance I thought they were from COBI, because they have figures with very similar printing, but most of the COBI figure I have seen have more rounded shoulders than these.

Brickmania has some custom WWII German minifigs on their site that look similar. Maybe these are older versions.
  • wardward Member Posts: 17
I saw indeed similar custom ones, but never exactly those. datsunrobbie : They have the lego logo in the neck.

I got 3 more. I found them in a job lot that I got in Januari 2015.

Let's try this thread in reverse ;-)

I'm typing to find a Hairpiece that is a blond ponytail with a blue streak. I suspect such piece doesn't actually exist but figured if ask.

    The best I've found is

    https://brickset.com/parts/6174096/mini-doll-wig-pigtails-no-2

Which isn't idea as its pigtails not pony tail and has red as well as blue but if there's nothing better I'd make it work.

No blue streak. Might need a custom part?

I remembered Friends set #41093 being a blue streak but apparently its magenta.

I'm the sort who'd rather make do with the nearest official than customise.
    Thanks anway

@shib I think you'll have to make do with a plain bright light yellow ponytail, or the one @Bumblepants suggested, and a blue sharpie.

As I suspected the Harley Quinn minidolls hair is probably my best bet for the time being. I'll just have to keep my eyes open for any possible better replacement in future sets

(having bought custom parts in the past only for a perfect official part to show up shortly after is the main reason I don't go in for customs now)

I remembered Friends set #41093 being a blue streak but apparently its magenta.
Probably the Wyldstyle connection makes you think blue ;-)

    I've got
    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=87990&idColor=153#T=S&C=153&O={"color":153,"iconly":0}
in mind too, but I think it really should be blond with blue tips.

Never mind. I'll make do with one or the other for now... If @LostInTranslation doesn't no of a better alternative for a hair piece it probably doesn't exist ;-)

    Thanks all

    Hi!
i recently bought a chest full of legos and found some pieces i cannot identify.

it seems to be a part of a lego technic dinosaur/dragon, one red one blue...
theres only one hint on google, old ebay auction from uk titled 'Rare lego technic fighting biting'

can anyone identify set number and building manual?
i will be more than happy :)

here's photo from this old ebay auction

and photos of the parts found in the chest

@Shib - I was watching my daughter build a set this weekend and had something catch my eye that reminded me of your search.

It's likely not what you're looking for, but would the hair pieces from any of the Cinderella Minidoll figs fit the bill? They are blonde top bun pieces, not a ponytail. And the blue streak is a headband, not a streak of hair.

It was more the color combination that caught my attention.

Interesting idea, I do have a couple of those spare too. If I get round to building the model I'll keep it in mind as a possibility

    From a set or home-made?
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Twin Cities, MN, USAMember Posts: 804
Probably home-made. I looked on bricklink for the red mudguard piece on top of the right-hand building and didn't see anything that looked like that in sets. I believe that might be #4025 Fire Boat in the foreground, though I don't see the extendable platform on the stern. Hope my S.W.A.G. were helpful! (Scientific Wild-Assed Guess, for those who haven't heard that one.)

Good call on the Fire Boat!  ;) She is mid-build in that & was showing me the pics & I noticed the red houses(?) in the background.

LEGO isn’t big on monochrome anything, so that’s another clue.

what can anyone tell me about this?
  • stluxstlux LuxembourgMember Posts: 2,148
@gelkster Looks like #4500744 Ludo with Mini-Figures from 2006. Seems it was also released as #G572-1 and #851847.

What is this from? There are 6 grey pieces and 6 brown ones. Can't find a set with these in this quantity. Does the perforated packaging used for buying individual pieces from Lego?

  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Minnesota, USMember Posts: 2,375
^ I don’t see any sets on BL that have six brown 30382’s.
  • andheandhe UKMember Posts: 2,720
@mak0137 both those pieces are found in https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=7660-1 just not in those quantities.

Has the bag been heat sealed in a more amateur fashion? Could it be from a bricklink seller? Alternatively could it be from a park or brand retail store? I had a pack of wheels from the old Kingston store. I also a pack from something star wars with obi-wan and anakin hair in, another pack I can't clearly remember and another of random technic parts from a tent in Legoland Windsor. It could be one of those "remainder" packs possibly.
  • mak0137mak0137 VirginiaMember Posts: 258
The bag seals looks standard. It probably is from some Lego source like you mentioned. Nothing special about it just curious as to where it came from.

I've never seen this piece before, and if there was ever a part number on it, it's been rubbed away.

If you look at set #6655, it's part of a jack for a car.

Was sorting through a collection of Star Wars minis that I got from someone else.  There are three sets I cannot identify, and they don't appear to be in Rebrickable or Brickset's database that I can find.

Two are clearly built, but I was not able to find them by part or by browsing.
The thirds is unfortunately just a bunch of pieces, but looks like some sort of podracer.

I know that there were some lego sets that were basically extra pieces that came in other sets, and had instructions to build them, and they didn't have set numbers.  Anyone know the set numbers to these?

    racer.

The Y-wing can be built with extra parts found in #4488, #4489, #4490, and #4491. Not sure about the others, but perhaps they can be identified through a similar vein of investigation.

Thank you!  Following that, I found the rebrickable page for it here (but you cannot find it by searching a part):
    https://rebrickable.com/sets/4488-b1/mini-y-wing-attack-starfighter/#parts

Please let me know if anyone has ideas on the others.  Apparently they are non-indexed sets.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 The Northwest, USAMember Posts: 1,462
For anyone in the know, are these builds from any of the Lego magazines?
  • Baby_YodaBaby_Yoda The world's backsideMember Posts: 1,193
First picture, bottom right: that strange grey part is one often found in Bionicle sets. The rest: definitely looks like a mini Sebulba's Podracer, though I'm not sure where it's from. It doesn't look like the one in the planet set, though.
Second picture: The structure is remarkably similar to a poly included in a book collection ~2011, but it uses a newer slope piece at the front and lacks the wings I would've thought would be a necessary inclusion on an official model.
