Thanks. Never would have guessed that, but then, I own no Bionicle. Looks like that piece may have been re-engineered for the Ninjago Airjitzu sets as this:

That part is a piece which I have been trying to find for ages.
Any ideas where to purchase one.

Which one? The Bionicle one, or the Ninjago one?

I’m guessing this isn’t LEGO (the skinny black thing)? It has no numbers or the LEGO logo on it.

In a bag of used LEGO I bought at a local antique shop. A local collector/dealer was selling off his loose parts in 1 gal ziploc bags for $4 each, so I bought around 30 bags.

That red one seems like it should be easy, but closest I could find on BrickSet is #8674. Yours looks older given the absence of curved parts.

Far left: Set #8818-1 Baja Blaster / Desert Racer (1993) - The 2791 steering rack only appeared in about 20 sets.

Center: #8440-1 Formula Flash (1995) - The 2x2 red tile with the white logo (sticker) is unique to the set.

Far right: #8816-1 Off-Road Rambler (1994) - The 2x2 round tiles with black grid pattern (4150p01) only appeared in 14 sets.

No instructions for any of these. I can substitute some of the missing figs with similar ones if you want?

@Themaker37   If you will pay attention, in the upper right hand corner on BL it says it came in one set. All you have to do is click on it and it takes you to the set page. Everything is easy when you learn how to use BL.

There's often some of those in job lots! I save up all the K'Nex bits in a bag and then when I've got a big bundle I'll sell them off on eBay.

I'd wager it's a playmobil window piece, but definitely not LEGO.

No Duplo. A few Freestyle pieces, like this:

Searching BL, nothing in Duplo, Freestyle, or Fabuland matches.

No numbers. But that’s normal for windowpanes and shutters.
