I was playing through Lego Batman 2 recently, and one of he minikits at the end of the level used a part I cannot find. It's like part #13548 but inverted, or #3676 with the outside corner cut and only 3 studs on top. I've looked high and low and can't figure out if it's even a real part.

As far as I'm aware, that part doesn't exist, so probably a developer's folly. Would be a useful part to have though...

Does anyone know what this part is? It does have a Lego mark on it so it must be an official part (it was hard to get it in focus, best I could do)?

The curved pieces look olive green, only came in two sets. Neither look to contain the brown pieces though.

Forgive me if I'm taking liberty with this tread, but I have the opportunity to pick up the lot pictured below and am trying to determine if, based on initial photos, I should offer a lower price.

From what I see, there appears to be at least a few Mega Blok items mixed in (among other non-brick toys). One other broken 2x8 in the top right corner.

I've identified a sticker from set #3182 (left middle). Also possibly a panel of glass from #6380 (upper middle).

Any other big red flags or parts that stick out as identifiable to a particular set? There is the boat in the bottom middle that could be from one of a few sets, some sort of blue sloped piece with a sticker on it in the middle of the tub, plus all the red/yellow frame pieces I can't seem to find a set for.

^Answered one of my own questions. The blue piece with the sticker on it in the center is piece #30288pb01 from set #6520.

There is a closed stud minifig in the bottom right too, but can't quite make out what's on the torso.

Hard to even guess a value from that picture. Need to know how deep the bin is and get some idea of what lies below the visible layer. Also, need to know the asking price to determine if lower offer makes sense. If they are asking $10, grab it and run. I think I see #75058 from set #7686 on the far left side of the bin. Also appears to be #4266 in chrome on the right, lower, just above a red door in yellow frame. If that is what it is, it only came in the UCS Naboo Starfighter #10026

Red door in yellow frame is in a bunch of "basic" sets, took me a bit of searching last week when I found them at the local thrift shop. Bricklink often has older parts that don't show up on Brickset, probably stuff that is no longer in production .

Some more details: it is an 18 gallon tote. Google says the dimensions are 26 x 18 x 25 (inches). Asking $50.

I'm committed to buying it. I think it'll be a good deal either way.

Well, there will be a LOT of part identification to come, but I couldn't be more happy with the purchase! The tote weighed a total of 42 pounds. Obviously the tote itself adds at least a couple of pounds, plus some of the Mega Blok stuff mixed in. But there has to be at least 35lbs of Lego. At $1.43/lbs, that isn't too bad! (there may be an additional pound or two of cat hair in there as well....)

Last night I mainly worked on separating out any Mega Bloks I could find. So far it's pretty minimal. I also started sorting out anything with a sticker, number, or pattern on it for easier identification. I didn't have too many issues locating stuff. So far I've identified pieces from about 40 different sets.

I'll attempt to take fewer pictures with more items in them to help with the identification to avoid clogging up this thread.

I've been able to connect the dots on nearly every element I've come across with one or two exceptions. I'm sure there will be more dead ends with the minifigs once I get there. I am stumped with these, however. Are they Lego? Not the greatest picture, but it has three "fingers". Two on one side, one on the other. The opening holds tight a minifig utensil. I'm out of ideas to search the database for.

EDIT - IGNORE THIS!! Forgot to carry on my Bricklink search with "pb..." with them being printed!

Any ideas on these two? They’re part number 87748, but Bricklink only has 3 custom items for custom chromed versions - search comes up with nothing for the actual part.

Thanks @stlux . That would explain all the wheels! From the picture, I think there are two more sets on the right, but I can't work out what they are. One has lots of white, the other is all grey.

I'm wondering if the slightly yellowed grey block at the right is just the body of the turbo tank - it's in a similar state of yellowing to the wheels. You can also see the roof bars at the top if you look closely (and the main chassis is at the left).

Not sure what the main white chunk is, but there are a few bits that say Republic Gunship to me (pointy white bit at middle left, white and red bit below Slave I). But there have been 3 or 4 versions, so I couldn't say which!
