I would need help with identifying these. The only thing i know about this is that it is from slizzer/throwbots and ice planet . Did some research and found it is 6879 but need confirmation. Also not too sure about the wheels and the rest.

The Throwbots are an easy one to do , you don't need help there. The Ice Planet parts are probably from a Blizzard Baron and the white wheels only came in Ice Planet sets so they look to be from an Ice Tunnelator.

Not sure whether you mean as one piece, but there is a 3l bar like piece where the top 2l is saw teeth up and over. Can't find the piece number on my phone though.

2 pictures and a few mysteries: First off, when did Lego ever use Screws in there bricks? Yet, these yellow, gray, and red connectors have a plug in the bottom, installed with screws? What sets do they belong to, and what is there part number? 2:  Gray brick 2x4 smooth plate with “(2) Bricktober 1996” the only thing that shows up on-line is “ firs ever…2014”, can someone tell me what I have been missing all these years? A detailed description, and history, of the event would be nice? May be, a separate page? If this is something sponsored by Lego (And the first one to say it’s about beer, gets a Bionicle Rashkshi to the face) 3: Assorted parts and model numbers, (4431, 7213, 7942) but what I am most interested in is the yellow chair with a sticker “Spirit of Louis” with an eagle head.  Can anyone tell me about that model? Or is this a random Sticker?

Sets? I wouldn't call magnets a set, but BrickLink will oblige.

The Design ID is 90754, although BrickLink calls them 74188c01.
 
Available in Bright Red, Bright Blue, Bright Yellow, Brick Yellow and Dark Stone Grey for which the Element IDs are 4611441-5 respectively. Black is 4620392. There's also one in Medium Azure.

@LegoAerologist Bricktober is a toysrus event where they give you an exclusive 'set' (in this case a magnet with a different 'classic' figure each week) when you spend a certain amount in store during that week (in October).

Think they've gone away from the magnets to other giveaways now.

I'm sure someone will correct me on any of the details I've got wrong.

Thank you so much for your comments. The bricks in question do look like the Toys-R-Us display model. But they are not magnets. And the chair is from  #7307 Flying Mummy Attack. I have the mummies, and other parts.

Hi all, new to the forum.

I just bought some 1980's (I believe) blocks from an online site here in SA.


Could anybody render a guess as to the sets they are from?

(Disclaimer, I don't even have the blocks yet, they are still being sent by courier this week)

It doesn't look like they all came in the same set. Several of the parts such as the printed dish, black window frame and old style minifigures came in different sets. The lot doesn't look coherent like they were all part of one set so I'd say just a bunch of bricks.

Well one of the things they had was some sort of Basic bucket. I linked the one we had as a kid. It came with two of the girl and two of the boy finger pupets and the windows/doors which are 2x4 in dimension (like the red frame yellow inner door and windows).It also had trees.
