There are two super heroes Nick Fury minifigures (spider chase and helicarrier exclusive)... Can someone confirm if their heads use the same piece?
thanks.
The Headquarters and Fort Legoredo are from 1 of 2 sets. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?S=6762-1#T=S&O={}
The yellow sign with the red circle and arrows is from. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?S=4513-1#T=S&O={}
The blue decorated panels with the TV are from. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4215pb035&in=S
The decorated panel with the motorcycle is from. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=4215bpx26#T=S&C=7&O={"color":7}
Off the top of my head, I see the top part of #4513 in the yellow section, along with some Aqua-Raiders logos (left, tridents).
Off the top of my head, those big red pieces look like Exo-Force, while there are a lot of pieces throughout that look like 90's Town/City pieces to me.
When I find a piece that is only in 2 or 3 sets, I check each of those for unique pieces to try and narrow things down, or check quantities. For instance, the red rails with the grooves come in only 3 sets listed on Brickset, and #7208 and #7945 both contain 4 of them. Narrowing it down further will require looking through more parts.
Thanks to the blue jack on the box, I narrowed it down to http://brickset.com/sets/6369-1/Auto-Workshop. Thanks again!
I'm pretty sure the blue tiles with the helix pattern are either from a Spider-Man set or an Alpha Team set from the early 2000's.
As to the tailfin... wow. I am impressed. Like a needle in a haystack. Thank you.
Identify the base part number - for the tail fin, that's 2340. Then, on BrickLink, search for "2340p*". There's only about 90 so it's fairly quick to spot - although, perversely, that one's right at the end!
You'll find most printed parts that way.
It can sometimes be a bit tricky working out that part number although, in this case, BrickLink conveniently calls it a tail.
I appreciate the help. My issue is that I don't know what these parts are called... so unless I have a visual representation right off the bat, I feel like fumbling in the dark. But I am learning every day. Thanks for educating a n00b.
BrickLink uses different descriptions to TLG and Brickset. So you get two guesses for the price of one.
You can sometimes search by size - that fin is described on BrickLink as "Tail 4 x 1 x 3", so searching for "4 x 1 x 3" finds it. Bear in mind that the height is measured differently (the height of a brick rather than the width of a stud). Searching for "4 x 1" should also work, but give you a lot more to search through. You can search Brickset too, but drop the spaces, and put the smaller of the length/width first; the height's last on both sites.
The two sites will sometimes come up with different sizes for the same piece with one including projections and the other not.
If you've seen one in a different set, look up that inventory and find the piece.
If you have to convert from Brickset numbers to BrickLink numbers, then look what sets contain it, and then look up that inventory on the other site.
If all else fails, somebody here will remember it from somewhere.
Happy to help, and I hope you enjoy your Classic Space goodness!
"Listed on Brickset" are the keywords - this piece (and 4 of them) are in more than 3 sets - http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4217
As people on here have said, its best to check for unique / special pieces, then try and idenitfy them (or ask people on here to identify them, I'm constantly amazed by how good people are on here!) and then work backwards to work out what sets you have, and work out what pieces go with which set.
Good luck!
Here is the tail fins also. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=2340pb017L#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11}
Those pieces don't all go together if that's what you mean. The middle torso is the rapper from series 3 for example. But that isn't his legs, head or hair.
You'll have to wait for someone with a lot of time to help then, being pointed in the right direction (like that torso is the rapper, and I think the guy on the right is from a recent city 4x4 racing set) is what I believe this thread is for, not for getting someone to look through all the heads on bricklink to provide a link because you don't want to.

Looks like the one - thanks Bobflip!
Both of these should be form a soccer torment set, I recognize the head band paint job from, 3409 Championship Challenge, which have been working on for a while. However, if it does not fit a standard body, its not standard.
Same with the armor, I might be wrong, but I don't think they are Lego.
Classic! 70 and 80s House and space explorer sets the "snake" thing, is a robotic arm from many of the land craft and spaceships. Yes, the 2 part brick is not spouse to come apart, but it dose:) Love it!
Does anyone know if the torso listed on bricklink for this is accurate? I'm trying to find one just like that except I want a flesh part at the top and bricklink says it's an orange undershirt.
there are 2 that have the flesh tone at the top. not sure why bricklink has them all with the orange undershirt.
However, if you look at the instructions for some of the early sets that contain it, the front cover has the orange undershirt, but the pictures showing assembly of the figure do not. It may well be that the orange undershirt version never went into production.
How many? If you have #75058 and it's missing or broken, it's available as a replacement part - but it's not available to buy. That means they're available; you just have to work out how.
As for the year being 2010 and the mold Being released in 2011 with older Ninjago sets, it's just that parts and sets take quite a while to design and the date of design can be one or maybe even two years before the part is released in a set.
But to answer your question in short, yes all three of these pieces go together in set #9579
Edit: Damn, not noticing the next page and being late to the party.
Does anyone know what these partial sets are? :)
