I said one bag. Who knows what happens to any the others? Just because they start off life in a box together, it doesn't mean they're going to stay that way.

But it might explain why he has exactly 18 of one and none of the other.

Not enough Taj coloured pieces, not even close. Mostly star wars stuff. I did have a look and only the Taj has the right sort of quantities (or maybe green grocer) but no dice for either of those parts wise. Ah well, just one of those things, thanks all.

Can anyone identify these two pieces that I picked up from a store that sells used Lego?

The head is definitely Lego: it is stamped "3626," "Lego," and one more line inside the head, but I suspect that the print is custom. The hair has neither a "Lego," "C," or numerical stamp of any kind. I have never had any non-Lego building toys, so I can't readily recognize other brands.

Brilliant thank you very much. We have inherited a huge bag of (dirty but useable) lego and this set will be in it somewhere. I don't think there are any other easily identifiable parts though just a lot of bricks. Thanks for your help

There are no horses I'm afraid. Having spent half the day washing lego we appear to have the entire set minus the horses and one saddle, possibly an airplane or space shuttle and maybe parts of a submarine. There are also lots of technic parts, wheels, mini figures and random bricks. It'll be interesting making stuff with it

Recently scored a bulk lot . Unfortunately, the child who owned them liked to completely dismantle them, so most have the wrong arms, hands etc. Have pieced together more than half, but would appreciate a hand with any of these. Thanks.

Holy cow! What help do you want? You have every theme in there and describing them or trying to point out a location is going to be insane.
For what it's worth, there is clearly Hagrid there, you have a Dj cmf, small clown cmf, artist, werewolf and karate master cmfs, an early blue ninja, a couple of hobbits. Oh and some star wars.
You will be far better off working out sets you have complete(ish) and then getting the minifig's for that set together.

Thanks Matt, but that's kinda the problem.

I've already done what you suggest, picking out figs from over 45 sets I've identified, a shed load of cmf's, some random super heroes, key rings and a large pile of star wars. This is what's left!

I appreciate some might be obvious, but not to me. I can see some classic space, but no idea if they varied the leg colour or heads for instance. I can see some jedi robes, but cannot find them anywhere on bricklink. There's what appears to be star wars pilots of some sort, but no amount of searching clone/rebel/pilot/trooper etc seems to bring them up.

I figured people might do what you did and pick out some obvious ones to start whittling it down. Ie: First pic, third one in row 2 is x.

Sorry if that's not how this thread works, I'm new here!

I see a number of monster fighters in there. Harley Quinn, green tentacle feet from alien conquest, hagrid, a good number of classic town and pirates. A bit overwhelming all at once. Good luck finding all the hands

@kizkiz that is how the thread works, but that is quite a lot of work for anyone to do and we all have our own unsorted collections too!
If people give you a shout out for a minifig then search it on brickset and then put it together from the picture, then they don't have to give you a location as that the bit that will take time.
You can start with the ones that @Bumblepants and I called. Thats a dozen or so sorted. All the city ones are going to be tough as they are all so similar it is hard for people to call them.
Just to keep you going, you have a frodo, a bilbo, a skater boy cmf, a crazy scientist cmf, 2 ninjago Cole and a fleshie Han Solo.

Start again, this time trying to help those whose help you are seeking.

Do some sorting. Remove the duplicates - it's a lot easier comparing two torsos when then they're in your hand. Then sort by what you think you the theme might be, as some people are more familiar with particular areas.

Then photograph them on something a bit less loud - like a sheet of white paper. No overlaps (and therefore more repeats). You'd probably be better off posting them in batches - by theme. Sort out one lot before moving to another.

You also give the impression of not having tried very hard yourself. There are only about 120 printed 2 x 2 x 2 slopes:

I appreciate the table clothes is not ideal, lol, but it's where I've been sorting.
I can be a bit more specific once the obvious ones have been sorted, with some better pics.

Tigermoth, I've sorted over 250 in the last few days. It's all become a bit of a blur I'm afraid. Clearly I'm looking and not seeing, which is why I thought some fresh eyes might help

I see in there some Mandalorians (generic, but possibly Jango Fett), Boba Fett, At-ST drivers, AT-AT drivers, Storm trooper, at least 2 Jedi (likely 1 being Obi wan) Santa Darth Maul and a Harley Quinn.

3rd image, 3rd row, position 3: Blue Futuron space torso.

I see at least one Zane, two Jay, and three Cole torsos (all from Ninjago). The Coles are in positions 7 and 8 of row 2 in image 3 (these look identical to me). Position 5 of that row is also a Cole, the ZX version. Jay is position 1 of row 6 in image 3 and position 9 in row 1 of image 1 (also look identical). The Zane torso is in position 1 of row 5 in image 3.

Lots of very faded classic figures. Position 6 of Row 2 in Image 3 is one of the very first printed torsos, the original Fireman. There are 3 Red Classic Space guys, all quite faded. The white torso with the S on it was a standard one for City in the 80's and early 90's. As were the blue and red vertical stripes on white and the red overalls (all in Row 5 of image 3).

They're from #7163 Republic Gunship. Not only do the colors (white, bright yellowish green, bright red, and dark red), the number of bags, and the bag graphics match what's in the instructions, but it looks like the set number can be seen peeking out in the bottom left corner of each bag. I think it's been many years since LEGO did theme-specific graphics like this on numbered bags.

I feel like I am going crazy, but I have a minifig torso that looks like it is from a Final Battle-era Lloyd Garmadon- yet I can't find one in the database. It is black, with green stripes down the front. It says LEGO on it, and it is not the golden Lloyd.

2nd picture, top row, 4th torso is Iron Man; there have been various versions but one of the Marvel Superheroes collectors can probably narrow it down. In the same picture, 2nd row, 3rd torso is from the Agents series.

3rd picture, top row, 5th torso came with several minifigs from the Medieval Market Village, with different arm colours; it may well have shown up in other Castle sets too: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=10193-1&viewItemType=M

Have spent a few more hours going through. Even looked through all 1800 heads on brickset!

Down to just the 7 above.

I've been so confused. I have legs with no torsos, torsos with no matching heads or legs. It's like completing a puzzle with no box picture, half the pieces missing, and then finding there is actually half of 5 different puzzles in the one box!

Davy Jones with no beard or legs is rather frustrating. I do have his hat though. lol

1st line 2nd in from left is catwoman I think. 3rd on that line is a endor rebel trooper from the endor battle pack I think. Grey on the bottom belongs to gandalf I think.

Top left is the CMF evil dwarf, top row, number 3 is a rebel endor trooper (don't know specific sets, sorry).

Bottom row is Gandalf (the Grey), an Indiana Jones Nazi, and Sam(?) from LotR.
