the upper one is an end of a hull, often used in spaceship, possibly in few boats too (though personally, I think I only got them in the lone ranger stagecoach)
the 2nd one, I think I saw it used to build gliders, I also have one at the top of the 1999 sith infiltrator

Looks like the cockpit hull
Looks like the this
According to Bricklink, and my own experience, the part only came in the variety of 2X2x2 slope without the inner tube, though the one I received does have an inner tube. I'm just curious if anyone knows if maybe later productions of this part had the tube added or where this one might have come from.

Know? No.
Educated guess? Maybe.
That basic slope in bright red has three, not two, element numbers: 367821, 4234526 and 4251818. In those days that usually meant a change in design, although possibly only slight.
There are only a handful of parts printed on such a brick. One, 83373 ROOF TILE 2X2X2/65°, DRESS has two different element numbers, 4118822 and 4235009. That implies one is printed on a 367821 and one on a 4234526. As there were no other red dresses around at the time, I suspect 83373 is what BrickLink call 3678apx1.
The question then is then a matter of whether 4234526 has the bottom tube or not. 4251818 does, being the current version. If you can find, possibly using a very big magnifying glass, any differences between the basic brick of the dress and a current one, then 4234526 does indeed have a tube and the dress was printed on both bricks both with and without the tube.
When you get to this level of rivet-counting, BrickLink is very unreliable. LEGO's own (and hence Brickset's) parts databases are also confusing because the element numbers are changed to those of the current part, even if that part was never in a particularly set.
Where's the found picture from?
Second one is this. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=54100c01
Any idea if she is complete and if she is a star wars fig?
The big red piece at the top and the big brown piece at the bottom. Maybe even the big grey piece on the right. It's a big box of random parts. I can't tell if it is all a jumble of randomness or something more. The printed black piece on the left looks like it belongs somewhere. Thoughts?

Even though I used to me a Lego-fan when I was younger, I don't have any old Lego since my parents want to keep it at their house, they claim it is them that bought it, so they should keep it (although it just sits there in boxes and boxes, all this treasure, not like they play with it, sigh) . But that's a different story.
Now, I was cleaning up some stuff in old boxes I came across one of my boxes of Lego that must have moved around with me for at least 7 years so I think I am safe to keep it :) But my problem: I have no clue which set (s) they are. I haven't built any technic sets this year, although I remember I used to love doing those as a teenager, my favourite built was the #8480 Space Shuttle. So seeing as my knowledge of technic pieces is still very limited, can anybody help me to identify something?
I really hope there are some full sets in here, I used to be quite orderly, but having two younger brothers, it might have gotten a bit mixed up.
I've taken a picture of the whole bunch, of the power functions and then a few special pieces and tubes.

It looks like a kid had the thing from the book, but built some of it into a MOC. The base of the first picture looks just like the second, but it is missing a bunch of parts and has other parts added to it. The thing off to the side looks like a vulture droid head, which led me to the two links, but it could also be from one of their vulture droids.

The only official set with dark blue 4x4 dish is #8018 AAT but some of the pieces on that model are not in it (like the 1x1 yellow tiles)
