@libelulex its probably the remnants of this set
    http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=6849-1

What I did to find it was choose a large or distinct part (in this case the printed 'cockpit nose') and see what sets it was in. Turns out it was only in two sets, and judging by your yellow spaceman an the other parts, this one is your best bet :)

    Hey guys,

anyone know the part number for this?  Found the image when trying to find a suitable way to display some of my smaller star wars ships.

    Thanks

It's a toilet, from #7744 but maybe others sets with the same toilet.

Got a couple from this evening guys - bought a job lot and got a number of half built or even start builds lol. See if you guys can identify these sets! Gonna be a challenge. I think I managed to identify a few namely the police station and agents sets

A little tidbit of information for ya. Sometimes, the stickers that you put on certain sets have the set number printed right on the sticker.

Looks like you have remnants of a Police Mobile Command, Indiana Jones chase cars, the lower half of an AT-ST and a Western Gold Mine.

Is this all you have or are there more parts?

Thanks for the reply... this is part of the built stuff in a box of 20ish kg Lego

Anything else anyone can identify ?

I don't have set numbers or anything to hand, but off the top of my head, here are some observations. (kinda working from the bottom)

(In the last photo:) The black bit with yellow printing is probably from the underwater Atlantis theme.
(Second to last photo:) Some kind of Star Wars walker. Looks to me like an AT-ST
(Next picture up:) The black and beige cars are from the Indiana Jones set Shanghai Chase (?). The red one is from the Pharaoh's Quest theme.
(Next photo up:) The white and gold Bionicle bits at the left are from the original Takanuva, Toa of Light
(Next photo up:) A speedboat from an Indiana Jones Venice Canal Chase set.
(Next photo up:) More Atlantis and Pharaoh's Quest
(Next photo up:) The two bigger cars are probably MOCs, but the top-middle one looks like it has some Indiana Jones pieces.
(Next photo up:) Bits of an Ewok glider at the top left. Possibly from Endor bunker set (might also explain the walker and some of the grey bits)?
I don't recognise anything in the second and first photos. This was pretty rushed, and a bit vague, but I hope it helps!

I'm looking to make a whirligig out of lego parts, and I'd like to find some Lego propellers that would do a good job of catching the wind. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally I would like to connect it to some gears, but even just spinning in the wind would be nice.

It could be either. The solid bottom were before the hollow  and after.

Another call on this one. The torso is from Darth Maul, but the whole thing is in one piece like a keyring figure. However, there's no keyring connector on there. There's remnants of a bit of string around the neck though - unsure if that was added before purchase or not!

Almost 100% sure it's a custom. The face is from a Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic character, and I'm pretty sure Lego never made that particular one. Could have been done with a custom sticker/decal or something.

Does it have a hole in the hood/head where the metal pole went through (like a standard keyring) or is it just glued? It could have been a home-made keyring, and it was glued, just so it wouldn't come apart. That might explain the string as well (or by string, do you mean perhaps the remnant of a cape that's been torn off? I imagine that would leave thread-ish residue. It's hard to tell from the picture).

it looks just like 1999 darth maul but without the cape. may the face have been painted on darth maul's head?

  • BobflipBobflip Member Posts: 728
It's a real odd one. There's no hole or metal part for the keyring to connect to. The head will not turn, but is definitely printed rather than painted. The hood's not coming off either.. The legs and torso definitely appear to be moulded together rather than glued. The string... could potentially be the remnants of a cape. It's hard to tell but that's an possibility.

The back looks slightly wrinkled as well - perhaps that's a sign that the back was glued onto something at one point?
  • ColoradoBricksColoradoBricks Member Posts: 1,659
Mangled back/legs might point to a magnet as hot water separation still leave a uneven/bumpy surface, but even though, no sign of such magnet..
  • BobflipBobflip Member Posts: 728
    Mysterious...
I've tried taking a couple of macro photos - I shrunk the first pic so it wasn't massive, but maybe it'll help here. The back picture looks like there's a light flesh head underneath, but there isn't.

Actually... now I look at it, there doesn't seem to be a LEGO logo on the underside of the feet. With the slightly blurry printing of the face, perhaps it's a fake?

It was in a huge (and bargainous) job lot I bought last year, but there wasn't anything to indicate that there could be fakes in there. Is this a known fake at all?

definitely supposed to be Darth Nihilus (KotOR 2) he is not an official character in Lego form. there are many "Custom" versions on eBay. I would guess this is a customized fig only but could be a clone. definitely NOT an official figure.

as for the string the character has a tattered and hole ridden cape string is likely the remains of that.

if you can separate the parts (doubtful) the chest piece may be official Lego but probably not worth the effort.

    Hi all

my hour of need is upon you all.... I have got my hands of a few sets from the late 90s some I have identified but these two I have had no luck.... inside the mummy thing I found set #5919 which was a great bonus.. the spaceman key chain has a the Lego logo on back
    Thanks

Any ideas which sets or if they are even lego? I know the black piece is but how about the rest? The silver sword doesn't look like it is a lego right ?
  • andheandhe Member Posts: 4,006
The sword is. Standard sword in most castle sets, though the design has been updated in the most recent wave.

Printed piece is Han in carbonite.

The non-lego pieces I see are the flame and blue thing above the sword. The giant tentacle and the blue rod next to it, and possibly the orange thing.

The dark blue pieces are all lego (ninjago snake and 'elephant tail' and plume/feather). Not about the 4th blue piece, might just be the angle but can't verify it.

The shiny red thing above the sword looks like mega blocks, as does the bronze thing (helmet?) below the elephant tail.

The transparent skull is from Indiana Jones lego sets.

The dark red thing with the green spike... I recognize those pieces from Galaxy Squad sets.
