New Brand Store in Sheffield, UK

It was much quieter this morning at the opening and fortunately, I managed to make two purchases and get two grand opening minifigure packs. If anyone has a spare one from another opening and would like to swap them, please let me know.

Oh, and it turns out that Sheffield had grab bags this morning, but they were all gone bar one by the time I got there (10.20). Looks like they'd disassembled some of the Marvel stuff, as I got a lot of parts for one side of the Quinjet. No marvel minifigs though, looks like I got the leftovers!

I'm currently on a cruise ship in Guernsey so avoided any potential unpleasantness at my local branch :-)

Staff were lovely again this morning. Much quieter. I took my niece and nephew and they did the 'find the surfer builds' and 'build a minifig as fast as you can' and both came away with 2 (fairly boring to me) minifigs each. But they had a lot of fun, and I got 2 sets of the horrendous minfigs. I'd probably swap for something more interesting too!

When I finished building 'the store' yesterday I had a spare white 1x6 plate. Is this right? I went through the instructions a few times but couldnt see that id missed anything
