Can any of you re-sellers out there suggest a high quality scales able to weigh up to 30#? I've been using a bathrooms scales which has got me close 90% of the time but have had a few misses. Also, I found a feature on Bricklick that supposedly tells you the weight of an order. I've been tracking the BL info along with actual shipping weight and have found that the BL info is not very accurate. Thanks in advance.

Bought one of those 75lb scales from ebay for $20 back in 2008. Still working and very accurate.

most of the time post office/ups/fedex if you use their pickup service (US for example), you can be off by a little and they don't care

i don't sell things for business and while i have a scale at the office i don't bother using it since i don't want to bring the boxes of lego into the office

stamps.com gives away postal scales every now and then, not sure if it is any good

I bought some salter digital kitchen scales for a few pounds from the local supermarket that go up to 2-2500 grams: I sell a lot (not lego, mind) on ebay and discogs.com, and mine are always bang on, very occasionally within a gram or two of what comes up on the scales at the post office.

Ooops, just read the 30# bit in the OP. Ignore me... *shuffles quietly out of the thread*

I tried Stamps.com for a bit and while convenient I found the scale kind of annoying to use. The scale itself is pretty small, the usb cable provided was very short so I had to have the scale very close to my computer tower and of course it only works when using the Stamps.com software (so you would need to continue paid membership to use it).

I bought this recently from Amazon and have been happy with it. It does kg/g and lb/oz and will work with battery or outlet for power.

^ I bought that same one and it works great. It came calibrated and is accurate to about 0.1 oz. It's great for both small and large packages.
