Anybody could give me an idea of the value?

The Auction says: 25,65 gram! I don't know how much this is in ounce!

It's only available BIN! It comes in a case which read "Lego",but is it really a official Lego-product? In the auction it says that it was produced by Germanys Lego division to hand it out at anniversarys and stuff. It ain't listed on BL right?

How much? Got a link? I doubt anyone would pay too much more than the cost of the gold.

Just type in the search-field of ebay.de: 14 kt. gold lego
    Than you're gonna find it!
Seems like it's worth the money! The material worth is about 650€,and since it seems like a pretty rare item 950€ is a ok price, ain't it?

    A very very fancy brick!
I reall thought hard if i shall make a offer for it!
I'm really curious to know if ever one was sold on BL and if so for how much it went?

Recognize the table cloth... it belongs to BL seller Brasletty...

^wow... you've identified a BL seller by a table cloth. That's kind of amazing. The gold brick sure looks nice. Can you imagine incorporating it into a MOC?

^Sometimes I wish I could edit posts. Too much italic; didn't close the tag right.

    Hmm, thinking about it...

They are asking 50% over the melt value of the gold... assuming of course it is the real thing...

Shame it isn't one of the 5 gold C-3POs, I would have bought one of those for that price! :)

    A 2x4 brick is just... boring! :)

^ Boring? How about simple and elegant? Also, did you see this link @Istokg put up a while ago?

There's a whole new world of wonderful Bayer and BASF test bricks out there... in colors some of us have never even dreamed of. The link I posted was for Bricklink seller Maxx3001, who posts under Maxx on Bricklink and occasionally here. He was a big contributor to my LEGO DVD, the chapter on bricks mostly. If it comes in sizes 2x4... he probably owns it!! ;-)

P.S. Hate to burst my own bubble... but the tablecloth from Brasletty looks familiar, because he too is a big contributor to my LEGO DVD. He also owns a LOT of very rare LEGO items. Maxx is from the Netherlands, Brasletty is from Belgium.

Simple an elegant? Eh, you say tomato, I say tomato... :)

I'll wait for one of the gold C-3POs, I'd pay that much for one of them. Anyone here actually have one?

^ At that price you'd have some competition....!
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Yea, those would go for more I think... What, $3-5K perhaps?
  • IstokgIstokg Member Posts: 2,363
Despite rumors to the contrary... besides LEGO.... my area of expertise does NOT include tablecloths ;-)

    lol.....

Is that box of die cast LEGO cars? I like how the box looks like a parking lot, lol.
