I Love lego animations but it's hard to find good ones on YouTube because you get so many kids putting up all sorts of junk. Does anyone have any links to good ones?

Try Bricks in Motion or Brickfilms (though the last time I frequented the latter, it was sold out to a questionable commercial investor).

When I come out with my Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide (1949-90s) on CD in about 2 months, there will be a chapter on "viewable" LEGO commercials of the last 50 years going back to 1958. Some are pretty funny....

thanks for that. I hadn't seen Bricks in Motion before. I will spend some time looking through. I don't like the animations with virtual Lego, there doesn't seem much point if you're not going to actually build something.

@Jasen That was awesome! I love the beginning with the bulldozing of the old fire station.

After I made a stop motion build video of the Grand Emporium I decided never to do a modular building again haha. I'm surprised it only took you 1 day, GE took me 3 days then editing took like a month cause it was slowing down my comp and I'm still new to editing. I have the pet shop waiting to be built and initially I wanted to make a stop motion build for it to, but I think it's too much work haha.

P.S. When you say "In with the old" did you mean OUT with the old? Or is it a play on words since the Fire Brigade is an older style building with the date 1932 on it?

I saw your GE Time Lapse, was cool. I actually thought the FB would take 2 days to shoot (one book per day) but I just got into a groove and kept going :)
Was a great way to spend Xmas Day I must say, I'm a chef so it's the 1st Xmas I've had off in years :D

I'm thinking of getting and doing a time lapse of the Pet Store. I'm bracing myself for another day to build but I have another project on the go before that. )

To answer your (never before askt question :P) question. I have quite a few SFX CDs' but I also use www.soundbible.com too for royalty free sfx.
