A new era for me!

Way back when I was a kid, I used to live at the tail end of the cold war in a communist country. I was lucky enough that my dad was a merchant sailor which meant that I got Lego's from time to time :) Down side was that since I was under a communist regime, my folks were somewhat against police inspired/flavoured toys.... so, I never owned a police set.

Now that I'm back collecting Legos, during my last visit to the Denver Mills outlet store I reached Nirvana.... I bought a fire station (used to have one as a kid) and I also bought the police station as well (never had one). I was grinning all the way from the store to the airport (flying back to SoCal) :)

Btw, firestation is all put together by now and I'm slowly savouring the build of the police station :D

@ludzik - I can certainly appreciate your exuberance here, but we need to remember that this is a community forum and not a personal blog. As such, I'm going to close this thread. Please don't hesitate to PM me with any questions. Thanks!
