So that Harry Potter Advent Calendar game...

Maybe I'm being a bit thick - wouldn't be the first time - but I'm a bit puzzled about the game that is part of #76404 Harry Potter Advent Calendar.

There are 24 builds, and nine days in, we have three builds from each of the first three films, and each film has its own distinct colour of baseplate.  So far, so good.  It's reasonable to assume that with eight films, we'll end up with three from each film, and each film with have its own baseplate colour.

The website explains about collecting, losing and stealing builds using the spinner (Bonus build, or does one film only get two items? I guess we'll see.)

But my problem is with the win condition.

"The first player to either collect at least 1 build from each of the 8 movies... (ok, I can see how that would work), OR 8 builds of the same baseplate colour, wins."

As far as I can tell, you can't have more than three builds with the same baseplate colour... Right?

Or am I missing something?

That does sound a bit odd.  Almost like they were wanting to say "1 build of every baseplate colour" and realised that was the same as one from each film, changed it but got confused.

Maybe they mean three of the same baseplate colour. So a complete set of three of the same colour, or one of each colour.

LEGO was never particularly good with game rules or proof reading.
