Not sure if this is old news or not... but this is the first LEGO video game I've been on board with in a long while. October's a bit too far off, though...

I have to say I'm a bit more excited about the Lego LOTR game than I am the actual sets. I assume there will be a PS3 version, right?

^I can't imagine they'd leave any system out. I just happen to frequent the 360 sites, is all.

Theres no way they wouldnt make it for PC Xbox and PS3 after having made it for all 3 for HP, batman, SW, IJ and i'm sure there are others I'm missing.

The ad from a page in the LotR set instructions shows Wii, Playstation, Xbox 360, Xbox Live, and Nintendo 3DS.

Woohoo!! I absolutely adore the Tt video games. The only weak links have been the first Batman game, and Indiana Jones 2. Both Harry Potter games are wonderfully good fun, and I recently got the original Indiana Jones adventures which is fantastic as well.

Batman 2 and LOTR now coming, good time to be a fan of the games. Hopefully we might see one for The Hobbit too at some point!

Why do they ALWAYS leave out the PC!

    Q_Q

At least Battlefield 3 is awesome.

^ If by awesome you mean not as good as BF2 and BF1942 then yes, you are right ;)

I'd be surprised not to see a PC version, I'm sure all the others have had one...

I do not agree that the first Batman game was a weak link.. Indy 2 was an atrocious money grab for sure, but Batman was good.
You get to play the Heroes and villains in their own levels!
That game had a lot of game play in it was was great IMO.
Cannot wait for the LoTR game, I already pre-ordered my Batman game via Amazon.com

I'm with @Steve_J_OM on this. LEGO Indy 2 was an atrocity, and Batman wasn't much better. The levels in Batman felt so uninspired. Admittedly, I can't stand Batman, but I feel that game would have been bad even if it had been some other character.

And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they DON'T add voices to this game as they've done with the LEGO DC abomination. The voices just don't fit.

Oh yes. Please yes. No voices. That was one of the things that made Star Wars so great: all the humour was done in a kind of mime. The "I am your father!" scene from EP V wouldn't have been half as funny if it had voices.

I enjoyed the first Indiana Jones game on the Wii a couple of years ago. This was during my dark ages. You would think that this would of gotten me to buy a set but it didn't. It wasn't until this year that I actually started collecting. Man, I could of bought all those Indiana Jones sets for retail...

They've what?? That is sacrilege! Most of the charms of the Tt games is how the animated sequences are done without voice-overs, it's what makes them so funny! Not a good development.

There you go. They talk about the voice acting at the end... and accidentally talk about it as though it isn't the worst idea ever.

And here's a trailer featuring some of said voice acting:
