Anyone Seen Lex?

I did feel the need to publicly apologise to @Stagus for 'potentially' being responsible for the loss of his Lex Luther during the early ours of Saturday morning whilst helping out at The LEGO Show.

However, having befriended the security guys this morning, I asked whether they wouldn't mind having a quick scan through their digital cctv footage. And guess what, it seems I am to be exonerated of any wrongful doing.

See for yourself @Stagus.

Nice one flump. I think a shout needs to go out to Steve Price for his excellent LegoRena. Still one of my favourite displays.

^ There was more on the tape but I'm not sure would be right to share. All I can say is that he is a bad bad man.

@LostInTranslation My bro's Legorena is indeed a site to behold! I was honoured to help him with this when I popped back to the UK in the autumn of 2010 ... and since that time, he (and Carol) have made quite some impressive additions - including a magnificent Loading Bay road round the back, and expanded Green Room. Methinks I should time my next UK visit to "coincide" with a similar exhibition ... :)

@flump6523 - were you the one with the modular layout next door? Steve sent me pics and I was impressed! I have a similar thing, but sans monorail.

  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,825
^ No, it was the modular set that I inadvertently damaged whilst setting up the barrier chain. @Stagus 's Lex Luther that subsequently went missing from his moc.............

And yes, it was a good set up. :o)

I'm surprised Lex didn't go to a cross dressing bar if he was with flump the night before?
  • stagusstagus Member Posts: 256
@atkinsar, he was moving a bit gingerly.
  • andyscouseandyscouse Member Posts: 365
@stagus As I said above (^^^^), nice display!
  • stagusstagus Member Posts: 256
@andyscouse Thanks. Had a fab time and a great laugh with Steve & Carol.

    Maybe he did!?

I mentioned more tape footage yesterday? The shot of Lex in the lady's? He was repositioning himself - tight undergarments.
