Does anyone collect Ninjago spinners?

Does anyone here buy Ninjago spinners? I love the minifigs and weapons availability because of them, but having 20 different spinners does get annoying. What about you guys?

I have bought a few for my son, but otherwise, no... they make them, then remake them, and make more of them, sheesh!

In a word, no. They are a blatant slap in the face to the Ninja theme of my childhood. The spinning concept strikes me as a bit silly, too, and this is coming from someone who has tried them out in person.

My son enjoys them. We only have a three, though. Instead of collecting spinners, we tend to collect characters. There are a number of upcoming spinners with characters we don't have, so I may be purchasing more.

Reading your post again... I agree, that many spinners would be a bit annoying. We are not completists, though, so I only go with certain special ones. We did purchase Samurai X.
Many characters can be had with the ninjago sets, so often we pick spinners based on what minifigs we already have from sets we have. With the upcoming NRG, green ninja and the snake with two heads... We may be purchasing more spinners with this release.

Yeah. I am looking forward to the NRG, but it is too bad that they don't come in actual sets

    Agreed.

As an aside, I have been seeing the new Ninjago tool pack at Target. It has NRG Kai, and Chokun spinners in it for 19.99.
