We just posted our extended video footage of the coming Monster Fighters Ghost Train set we had. You'll want to see the part where we roll the train around and the bat wings move in unison. Great feature.

Train looks nice, especially the flapping wings. Shame it doesn't go to well backwards though!

Seems rather juniorized to me... Is this train in the same product line as the Haunted House that I believe is coming out?

I was expecting it to be a train in the sense that it would work on the standard style tracks but it appears it is a standalone toy. Could always mod it though I guess. Just disappointing that the rear cars have some sort of rubber wheel.

I hear 'flapping wings' and I think of the Time Cruisers twisted time train(http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6497-1) ... As a matter of fact it appears some of the features this train had are the same, flapping wings, and the carriage wheels appear to be Technic wheels with a rubber band, if this is the case then some modding will be needed to throw it on a piece of LEGO track.
My Pioneer loco I built looks a lot like this loco, nice to know I am using the same techniques as others :-)

nice set, like the design, with the big omission that it doesnt run on tracks - duuuh!
would have been a good way to get kids into the train series.

I still really like it and will definitely buy it, I'll finally get some ghosts too. It'll have to be modded though, I want to run it on track!

I found the train uninspiring... But i liked the ghosts though.
