Removing stressmarks on lego? Is it possible?
I have a few of the Qui Gon Jinn hairpieces
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30410 and it seems to be a common problem that they have white stress marks on the sides. I wondered if if it possible to remove these without painting/spraying the whole piece.
The thought of heating them pops into my mind, but don't know if this would have any effect.
Has anyone else had this problem, and found a way to remove them?

And I've got a few rare baseplates in which I'd love to find a fix for.
Maybe permanent / OHP marker. Or RIT dye. But obviously that changes the whole piece too.
