As for shipping outside North America, as long as there is no Lego education distributor in your country then yes they will ship to you, though you must agree to the shipping charges in advance.

On a related- or perhaps unrelated topic - does anyone know if you can buy the mats/challenge sets from the Lego League robotics competition? I searched ebay and couldn't find any, so I didn't know if there was some rule that you had to return them to Lego afterwards or what.

None on eBay and only 3 on Bricklink. Again makes me think there is some rule about what is done with them after the competitions.
One of the Bricklink lots doesn't contain the mat - without which you can't really attempt the challenges.
After some harder-than-it-should-be searching I was able to find a First Lego League type set on the Lego education site.

Not clear though wether you need to buy the "extension pack" to actually get the building instructions and mission list.
Does anyone know offhand whether you can use VIP point on the education site or are they completely separate businesses?
